8 Trades today 2 wins 6 rents but now rents
are bigger than wins!

It's a conundrum, small risk begs to be stopped
especially on choppy days. big risk means bigger
rents and you may still get stopped as today

If you have the answer to this you have really cracked
trading!

ANSWER: There is no answer! :)

so far DS 10/10 -9 pips well total is OK thus far

I will try to calculate totals for my first 8 Sequences today

First Eight Sequences ( Batches )

Seq 1 +70 Start March 2nd
Seq 2 -35
Seq 3 -86
Seq 4 +172
Seq 5 +144
Seq 6 -102 (would be +50 without Black Tuesday! Traded purely on impulse with NO regard to rules of any system!)
Seq 7 +71
Seq 8 +108 Ended April 14th

Total +279 for six weeks pro rata +186 pips per month

Of course I stand by these figures but I know that 'Black Tuesday' was not an
unlucky day! I didn't need Stops or rules like lesser mortals! I was high on
the drug of invincibility!! and paid a high price for it! Without that day of
wild unstructured gambling my monthly average would be +315 per month
- quite respectable

Stick to your System Rules!!

Well done and congratulations on your success. Now all you have to do is rinse and repeat until this pattern and this trading style becomes your Habit, a scond nature if you like. Let the unconscious mind take over making you excel to "unconscious competence"

all the best ... may the joy be with you!

Thanks Immy, results are not outstanding
but if I skip the 'Black Tuesday' type of lunacy
I would be averaging 315 pips a month which
is respectable

I see no reason why I shouldn't double that
average eventually - I am still far from unconsciously
competent - at that point there will be a
major upturn in profitable trades!

Thanks again - Your coaching is much appreciated

Great Video clip, I hadn't seen that one before

I think we could do worse than put a few of these
back to back to really psyche ourselves up

Here's another good one :)

Mickey's Journal

Unread post by kiravon »

After +48 profit on the day my instinct was to finish for
the day. Instead I gave it all back and more during the
following inevitable chop. I didn't break any rules -
but I did notice on some occasions I was allowing myself
to be influenced by others on Skype

But interesting was I thought I would explain my extra rents
in my journal on the fact that I took the cue from Skypesters
whose ability is unknown to me, so they could be absolute newbies
for all I know

Yes foolish to be so easily led, but point being just next day
after uploading Rocky's video!....

' You've changed, you started making excuses, blaming others'...

There is no blame! I chose to stay when I should have left. I chose
to follow the entry levels of persons whose judgement may or may
not have been better than mine

A few more knocks today. I'm responsible for that, no one else

Sequence 9

C1 DS 1 +20
C2 DS 1 +20

Personally I stop after one good run. That's because there's a good chance to trade choppy W4 after a good run. Sometimes market moves like a charm and there are missed big profits, but that's trading. Sometimes I just watch charts for fun but won't trade. But usually do something else. Go out for a walk, play videogames, cook food, watch documents, call and talk BS and annoy everyone, dig a hole in the ground, just something to keep trading away. The best job in the world must be ceased after a good run. Just my opinion.
