Re: Bettina's Journal
Hi Ladytrader,
no, I don't change anything, exactly the same as EU.
Stops would be a little larger, if you go above the aims box, but I have standard 10 p in VE_Aims and if that's above the red line a keep it.

Re: Bettina's Journal
Hi,
wasn't very successful with currencies today, two small wins and two rents with -1%.
But I tried to trade the DAX, which i have been watching for a while. It has really nice moves and there I managed +14.6 and +11.8.
I did this with another broker, where I have a small live account. So these were my first two live trades with aims, + 1,83 %

Re: Bettina's Journal
Hi Bettina,
We will all get days like that. It was a poor day for me as well. 3 trades, 2 being rent and a very small gain on the third. While mine may be novice mistakes (will go u on my journal in the next day or so), I am sure yours was just one of those days. May also have a bit to do with European markets being closed today, so the chaos that we find order in wasn't up to its usual "thing".
I am sure you will have many more good days than not so good days ahead B-)

Re: Bettina's Journal
Three more trades today :
1 EU + 19.5 : Exit because of dark red doted pivot line, but the attraction of the ADR line was stronger
1 GU rent : - 10.2, again too early, but M5 seemed to be ok, pullback on green line done and fresh cross of all alligators ( red vertical ) . M1 had a fresh cross on eWaves, but obviously needed a second dip, which seems to be the case much more often. But book it as 'next' - trade.
1 GU + 9.1 : Exit, because the wave looked completed, having had its last jump after a small w4.
So, on the whole another 'more than 1 % day'.
Read you tomorrow !

When you traded with us in the room for a short duration, I knew it that you will get it soon. It appears that you have got it. Really good to see that. I send my best intentions of love, success and eternal joy. Please continue your sweet journey and keep sharing it with us. Its just so beautiful a feeling to see you guys get the hang of it. You know it better than me that now all you have to do is rinse and repeat. But keep one thing in your mind, (which I'm sure you know but i'll repeat just for the sake of it) never try too hard yet never be too easy on yourself as well. We must maintain a healthy balance and continue towards peak performance. This must never stop and can never stop. There are no limits to improving your technique and refining your tactics over and over.... Cheers all the best...

Re: Bettina's Journal
Light and Shoadow !
Immy,
I like the feeling that somebody cares about my trading success. That is very unusual and I'm sure your kind intentions make a big part of me improving step by step. Yes, I sometimes try too hard, I'm probably not too easy : I'm very often simply blind and slow ! I often don't 'see' obvious things. I used to be an excel sheet person, not a picture person. But experience does it's thing.
Today was one of those more shadowy mornings.
Took two rents.
1 ) EU -6.1 : Was to slow to realise that short w5, could easily have been at least BE
2 ) GU -10 : Ups - no w5 ! The smiley should have changed to
After that I was somehow paralysed, didn't see following trades.
Will take some garden time and start again in the afternoon.

Re: Bettina's Journal
Hey Bettina!!! Very nice pic. From your garden???
A pity on the eu short there... Do you monitor previous significant high/lows? I show a H4 2 level low there. if i may (pic)
As i learned before, i do not necessarily take trade or tp on it, but with the info retain the option to manage risk/caution.
**EDIT** Ignore bottom H4 line, only formed afterwards.
Regards
Herbert

Re: Bettina's Journal
Hi Herbert,
yes, this morning I took some pictures.
I use Steve's Fractal Fib, so on M5 I can see 15, 60 and 240 and on H1 I can see the daily HiLo also.
And I must admit, I don't want to have more lines.
But I was just obviously still sleeping. I could have seen it : It was TZ1 in M5, but I thought there could be another jump into the middle of TZ1 and TZ2.......
