- I need to improve on trade follow up, specially EXITING -I tend to exit "savagely"...- I'm currently geting back to basics = establish my target, which is my HARD STOP (as is my SL). Then exit if cross of GREEN LINE (if already divergence between price/EW) or RED LINE...I need to stick to this and not reinvent the wheel!!!

October 9, end of day

- target hit on EU and UCAD!!!
- very very profitable trades...

Notes: TARGETS are just defined using FIB expansion rules...

Comments
- I feel very happy, not because trades are profitable -well I am of course because of that...- specially because I was able to stand with my EXIT RULES = wait either EXIT SIGNAL, or HARD STOP/TARGET hit to exit. Not easy to be honest, but very rewarding...I need to keep on doing this, without any hesitation/temptation/...
- I understand much better what Immy meant by "entering a trade is easy, the whole art is exiting the trade..." Exiting with profit is key, definitely!!!!

October 10, morning trade

- was looking after 2 pairs : AU and UJ
- AU did not go anywhere (I was looking after w5...not yet there :-q ...)
- similarly was looking after w5 on UJ...it's here...
---> THE POWER OF AIMS AND MM!!!
- buy 2 x @1%. Very tight SL
- exit half @2:1 + add 2 x 1% upon BO of M15 BOX
- exit half @1:1 + add 2 x 1% upon a SEED
---> move to H1 to manage trade "manually". I did preset HARD TARGET to tz1, then changed my mind since it will be fun to follow up...

So currently:
- 3% trade secured
- 5.5% trade running, of which 3% free

- M5 and H1 charts below

usdjpy-h1.png
Comments
- The amount of PIPS is indeed important, but not predominant
- What is mostly important is MM. In this trade, movement so far is "just" about 20PIPS, yet profit is already minimum 6% of my account!!!
- Needless to say that I DO LOVE AIMS!!! PLEASE COMBINE WITH MM, strictly...
- Will have a long WE folks. Have a wonderful one each of you, and see you again next Monday!!!

October 11, week wrap up

Before going on WE, a quick post:

- UJ trade still running, very very profitable. Quick chart below
- EJ -entered yesterday-, similarly very very profitable. Quick chart below
- no new trade today -there are good opportunities, AJ, GU, EU...but my wife needs me on WE :) :) ...-
usdjpy-h1.png
eurjpy-h1.png
Comments
- I know this may sound a bit pretentious = my preferred pairs are EJ and UJ. I kind of "understand/feel" how these pairs evolve. I cannot explain how they evolve, but I can feel the evolution...That's why I stick to them as much as I can!
- This week was my most profitable week since I started with AIMS. And so joyful to trade in these conditions...
- AIMS is VERY VERY VERY SIMPLE, and best of all AIMS is FACTUAL = you do not have to GUESS, I'd say (old timer I am) WYSIWYG -remember that??? What You See Is What You Get!!!-
- For the rest of my life I'll be grateful to principally Immy and Snorm, but as well to all AIMSters here, all so friendly, so helpful. Thx all buddies, who changed my life to the better!!!

Now have a wonderful WE all and see you next Monday...

October 15,

no new trades yesterday and today. I'm still following my 2 trades UJ and AJ (EJ stopped out after 60PIPs...)

I decided to show how I use AIMs currently, not that it is the best usage, but just to share...and to get your feedbacks, as well as for me to understand what I'm doing = writing down forces you to ask the right questions...

START
I make my analysis on H4. This enables me to understand the structure of the market, precisely where the price is = in which wave. To achieve this I use SNORM Ewave to spot an impulse wave; then from there, using SNORM Ewave along with the fractal boxes try to make my "pseudo counting".

IMPORTANT POINT: IF I CAN'T MAKE MY COUNTING, I JUST DROP THE PAIR AND MOVE TO ANOTHER ONE!!!

H4 chart below
H4.png
Once I made my mind, I wait for wave3, wave5, or waveA. Once spotted, I drop down to H1 to find a good entry point using AIMs rules

H1 Chart below
H1.png
Often H1 BOX is too big for a good/safe entry. Hence I drop down to M15 to find a good entry point using AIMs rules

M15 chart below
M15.png
Then how do I move back up to H4? H4 chart below explains it...
UP TO H4.png
How about exiting? H4 chart below explains it...
H4 EXIT.png
Comments
- Entry is very simple
- The real art is twofold:
1/ Moving from M15 (entry is there) up to H4 (profitable follow up is there)
2/ Choosing the most profitable exit point
- Establishing your clear rules for each of these aspects is key to success
