Oct 16, afternoon trade

- EG is ripe!!! H4 provides signals to drop down to M15 and seek a good entry point
- Chart below
EG H4.png
- On M15, upon S2, buy 2 x @1%
- Plan to exit half @1:1
- Luckily SL fits perfectly H4 BOX as well...Hence I'll wait for the price to BO H4 bow, then follow the trade on H4
- Chart below
EG M15.png
Comments
- Important to understand that "counting" is a "guess", not rocket science. Hence UNTIL YOU SEE A CLEAR COUNT, just wait...skip to another pair...
- Once you have a clear view of next price move, then an AIMS set up accurs, you feel totally comfortable pulling the trigger!!!

October 16, trade follow up

- EG exit half @1:1
- follow up on H4
- Chart below
eurgbp-h4.png
Comments
- Lots of fun to follow such move
- AJ, UJ and EJ are still pushing hard on wave 3 (EW just crossed up ZL on D1). Did not take since I will not have time to follow-up "seriously"...I'll try and take them right after wave4 -well hopefully...-

I'm gone for a WE in the South of France (not the Riviera :-)), South West...See you all next Monday

I love this line Fran....
"Patience, patience, and if nothing, then do not trade...simple, straight forward..."
This is so important and so simple in theory, but so difficult in practice when all you want to do is get active! Yesterday's EU and London session was a great example of the benefits of patience, and when the market moved there were numerous setups on numerous pairs that had the potential to return 10% with long trades on the NZDUSD, AUDUSD and GBPUSD. Patience, wait for the trend, take the setups, nothing more required.
Dave
Now, I choose to make a profit in trading.

You're a wise man Dave...And remember Immy's quote = no trade is an active trade...In other word, not losing money stupidely is a very active trade already :) :) :) !!!!!!

fxsam wrote:Good trade on EG Fran. You also had option to set SL below SEED candle on m15 which would have give you better R:R with SL of 3-4 pips. :)

Thx Sam...and well spotted!!!

October 18

- EG sub wave1 of WAVE5 ended with 2.6% profit

- sub wave3 of WAVE5 unfolds this morning on H4, and I was able to capture it...

note: did not detail the buy since it's classical now = 2 x @1%, with clear intent to exit half @1:1...

Step 1 =
a/ Know where price is ---> on H4, use EW to "count" waves.
b/ Once count is established CLEARLY, wait for sub wave3 (in this trade).
c/ Target zone of end of sub wave2 is +/-61.8% retracement of sub wave1...
d/ When you have the right signals in this zone, move down to M15 to spot a good AIMS entry
What could be the right signals??? FRUIT, BUD, SEED, EW turning UP...

- Chart below
eurgbp-h4-w3.png
Step 2 =
a/ Move down to M15
b/ Spot a classical AIMS ENTRY

- Chart below
eurgbp-m15-w3.png
Comments
- It took almost 2 days for sub wave3 of WAVE5 to unfold. I do repeat my self, I know, BUT PATIENCE IS KEY!!!!
- As well you MUST have good/grounded reasons to ENTER before entering any trade

Back to my long WE now...have a wonderful one all!!!

October 21, day trade

- Price unfolds to WAVE5 finally
- Await subwave2 to retrace to FIB 61.8% of subwave
- Then enter 2 x 1% upon a SEED
- Exit half @3:1
- Add 2 x @1% upon a FRUIT in the direction of the trend
- Chart below
eurgbp-h1.png
Comments
- Again PATIENCE and CONFIDENCE in your analysis
- After a whole WE + 1/2 day, price arrived where I want it to be
- Then just let AIMS do the job!!!!!!!
- Needless to say that it is already very profitable, and it is far from its end!!!

October 22, day trade

- Follow up on EG
- Waited NFP. Tighten SL
- Price went in my favor...good!!!
- Use Immy's after NFP trade strategy, with success
- Chart below
eurgbp-m5.png
- Current status of EG trade below
eurgbp-h1.png
Comments

- Know what you plan to do = make different scenarii e.g.if NFP is above plan, then...if NFP is below plan, then ...
- Patience, and apply your plan strictly
- Once frenzy is over, get back to your "normal" trade...
- Honestly AIMS, combined with a bit of Elliott Wave is devastatingly GOOD. I'll bless forever the day when I stumbled into AIMS, and great people here. Is it hazard, coincidence,...??? I believe it was "there" already, waiting for me :-)))

October 23, day trades

- Exit EG @my hard target. 15:1 trade!!!
- Buy EU as mentioned on the below chart
eurusd-m15.png
Comments
- I found my trading timelines = H4 analysis (I have the feeling that price movements here are more visible), with entry looking H1 and M15. This gives me plenty of time to do clean analysis, and have a clear view of what I want to do afterward. Also this leaves me plenty of time to be "IN THE ZONE" = I trade when all of me want/is ready to take a trade...Thereafter I use AIMS to spot the proper entry, and to manage the trade
- No hesitation, no stresse, no fear...
- PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE, wait wait wait until you SEE exactly what it is that you want to see!!! This is VITAL!!! Even now, I am tempted at times to jump into a trade too quickly -specially when the market has been flat for a while...- BUT I know PATIENCE is KEY!!!
