Today a bit of intuition played its part. To start with i do not recommend anyone reading this post, apart from the experienced ones, to try it. Intuition develops with experience and you must have deliberately worked on it through meditation and other such mind techniques. Having said that some people naturally are intuitive but the most important thing is what do you do about it. As I discussed earlier, even if I tell you this way the market will go you still need to take action, know where to put stop losses and when to get in and when to get out. AFter watching m1 specially on EU for over 6 years now I have certainly developed a feel for it. specially there is a certain peculiar way the markets start to behave all of a sudden that is different to the last 20 or so candles. Today at 9.45 am I wrote in the chat " here comes volatility". Here is a snip of the chat today. Please read the highlighted bits.
Intuition and rules.PNG
And this is what I did about my feel for the market. There was blue dot, and I saw, that M5 had created a very tight aims box. I used that for my entry. Picture below.
EUM1-280214-1.PNG
and the rest is a beautiful beautiful picture story. Good that I noticed and removed the 50 pips TP set by default by AIMS EA2. The obvious target would have been 1.38 without a doubt. Finally out wiht 87 pips. Cutting the long story short that is over over 8% risk reward ratio. without the part close around 17% was possible risking 1% on 5 pips. or 10% risking 1% on 7 pip SL. You see you got this pattern, this edge and you have the power of money management and you have the Deliberate power of making use of these tools to your advantage. But most of us "are in our own way". We gotta remove that hurdle. all the best, have a great weekend.

Thanks for posting these beautiful pics. Can you please explain bit more about one-two pattern and 3-3 pattern ?

Regards,

and 1-2 is the wave 1 and 2 that we often are unable to spot but we believe it happens around cross of zero line (hence the important of fresh cross of ZL) and the 3 3 situation is exactly what you see in the EJ picture. eWave shows a big wave 3 up and another down. Which one to trust? confusion means stay away. i hope this helps. Thanks for the question though. I love it. cheers

EU M1 this am. Many AIMSters perhaps saw a black dot here so did not take the long but thats ok as its just one trade and following your plan will be very good for you in the long run.

Anyway, the trade hit TZ1 nicely. Unfortunately I failed to pay attention to TZ1 when I should have, later realised it. Still I was hoping to let it run furhter but it simply refused to go further and ended up with +5 and +2 = 3.5pips up. NEXT

EU M1/M5 5th march 2014

Unread post by immy »

A very slow morning for EU, perhaps News at 1.15pm will shake things up. or down.. haha

meanwhile, i had to baby sit my boy so some trades on eu m1.

Short on m1, got in a bit early paid the price but only -4 pips and went long with +5 outcome. Meanwhile GU produced a great M15 Seed i.e. perfect m1 Long. Darren must have made 1:4 pips... well done Darren.

Immy, why do you buy EU, if m5 AO was down, m5 gator was down, and we should be waiting for W5 to appear?

BR,
Nikita

BR,

Hi, you're right it was counter to M5 but it was an M1 Setup and we had all these things in our favour. 1. Tight Gators, 2. Tight AIMS Boxes, 3. Entry correct side of Purple 4. Price not going down, despite the fact it stayed there, while I was short for almost an hr. It was a counter trend trade and hence I kept my SL tight, trailed below AIMS boxes.

I hope this helps.
