I have just paid the price for placing trades and walking away to let it do it's own thing. Just come back to the screen to see my EUR-USD M5 trade has hit it's SL for -36pips (-1%).
PO was placed 4 pips below the Aims level, the price just tagged it and then retraced. I used fib expansion to set the TP and to ensure there was enough movement to take the trade. Just one of those that didn't work out. Although if I had have been at the screen I could have minimised the loss.

Just taken a EUR-USD M1 short trade. I know hingsight is a great thing but I really shouldn't have taken that. -4pips -0.4%.

Been sat at my screen since 6:45 and seen plenty of good moves but unfortunately not the setups to go with them. So no trades for me today.
Back to reality today after 4 days of festivities and am now going to work.

Just took a setup 2 trade on cable M1 for +9pips (+0.9%). Manual exit on retrace and just before red news.

I sat all day today in front of my screen and didn't take a single trade. The week as a whole has been very good with 8 trades and +52pips (+6.09%).

My trades consisted of:

EUR-USD M5 -36 -1.0%

I have enjoyed Bettinas morning mood photographs this week. The attached photograph is what inspires me. This is the view I have from my study window where I trade from. I took the photograph in February as today it is a typically English day and is raining and the hills (we call them fells) are hidden in mist.

Congratulations on an excellent week Topher. I aspire to get to that level on a consistent basis. I will get there .

That is a wonderful view as well. Very calming. I love the dry rock walls there as well. A very forgotten trade from what I have been told. I can honestly imagine you sitting at that window being very peaceful and calm while trading :-bd

EUR-USD M1 +9pips (+1.5%) gives a nice start to the week.

It was a pink dot but I thought the setup was too good to miss. Aims levels were very close (3pips) so I placed my SL 6pips away from PO and TP just above the 60min low which it hit to the pip.

A nice 2nd trade for +20pips (+2%).

When there was indescision in the price at +25pips I moved my SL to +20pips which was hit. This has now given a black diamond exit signal so I am happy with my decision.
