Thank you for your kind words, Immy.
I like the simplicity of Fruit in general, which reflects in this (your) clean template.

Trade campaign 14/1

Summary
  • Entry: Box breakout + N/A
    Risk: 57.4 P + 78.5 P
    Exit: Box trail
    Result: 20.3 P - 0.8 P = 19.5 P, 0.35 R - 0.01 R = 0.34 R
    DS: 0
About the campaign
  • Possibly, D1 was going into a Wave 5 down (even though price didn't retrace to Fibonaccis' 38.2 % retrace level, yet).
So, I tried to jump on the down move on H1, using Classic Setup (was this really a Classic Setup here?), entering the market at the brake of AIMS level.
I added on under the last Fruit signal bar, without a new Fractal (but why? Well deserved DS = 0).

Trade campaign 15/1

Summary
  • Entry: Box breakout
    Risk: 17.5 P
    Exit: Initial SL
    Result: -20 P, -1.14 R
    DS: 1
About the campaign
  • Shouldn't have taken this trade, as price on D1 was inside the Alligator.
Nevertheless, nothing wrong considering my Trading Plan.

Trade campaign 16/1

Summary
  • Entry: Fruit + Box breakout + Box breakout
    Risk: 27.4 P + 54.7 P + 37.9 P
    Exit: Box trail
    Result: 65.3 P + 42.8 P - 5.8 P = 102.3 P, 2.38 R + 1.28 R - 0.15 R = 3.51 R
    DS: 0
About the campaign
  • There was a buy Fruit candle on D1, too, with price possibly going into a Wave 5 up.
So this was a pretty nice spot to go long on H1.
Again, due to being asleep, I missed the Momentum Add-On (DS = 0).
Was waiting for creation of a lower Fractal "stepping down" and started the Box trail afterwards.

Trade campaign 17/1

Summary
  • Entry: Fruit + Box Add-On + Box Add-On + Box Add-On + Box Add-On
    Risk: 22.5 P + 28.1 P + 39.5 P + 45.8 P + 16.1 P
    Exit: Fruit
    Result: 77.6 P + 71.8 P + 27.3 P + 22.4 P + 16.7 P = 215.8 P, 3.45 R + 2.56 + 0.69 R + 0.49 R + 1.04 R = 8.23 R
    DS: 0
About the campaign
  • I was targetting a Wave 5 down here, which worked out pretty nicely.
Two mistakes were made: I should have taken the Momentum Add-On (DS = 0) and the Fruit, based on which the trades were exited, was not a valid one (only two bars built the angle, not the necessary three, DS = 0). The Box trail should have done the job.

Trade campaign 18/1

Summary
  • Entry: Fruit
    Risk: 20.6 P
    Exit: Initial SL
    Result: -29.4 P, -1.43 R
    DS: 0
About the campaign
  • This was the SAR trade to campaign 17/1, with the same mistake (only two bars for angle, DS = 0).
Also, the spot wasn't ideal, as the supposed Wave 5 down didn't hit its TZ 1, yet.

Trade campaign 19/1

Summary
  • Entry: Fruit + Momentum Add-On + Box Add-On + Box Add-On + Box Add-On
    Risk: 43.9 P + 78.7 P + 92.3 P + 37.4 P + 41.8 P
    Exit: Box trail
    Result: 110.8 P + 85.8 P + 61.6 P + 51.8 P + 39.4 P = 349.4 P, 2.52 R + 1.09 R + 0.67 R + 1.39 R + 0.94 R = 6.34 R
    DS: 1
About the campaign
  • Price on D1 was in a potential Wave 4 up at that time.
On H1 I was targetting the corresponding Wave 5 up.
There was Divergence, too, which boosted my confidence in having found the end of this wave.
Add-ons worked nicely, as did the exit. Quite satisfying campaign, I must say.

Trade campaign 20/1

Summary
  • Entry: Box breakout + Momentum Add-On
    Risk: 27 P + 33.2 P
    Exit: Box trail
    Result: -5.8 P - 11.7 P = -17.5 P, -0.21 R -0.35 R = -0.56 R
    DS: 1
About the campaign
  • As price on D1 was inside the Alligator, who was also going to sleep, this was not the best spot to enter the market.
On H1, I tried to get the end of what I thought was Wave 4, into a Wave 5 up.
Alligator was inside the Box and started opening to the upside.
As I consider this kind of breakout as "Stage 3", Box trail was activated immediately, which kicked me out of the market quite fast and premature.

Re: Thomas's journal [trading Fruit on H1]

So this were my first 20 campaigns.
As a summary, I'm quite surprised, that even with a meager DS (11/20) and some bad entry spots, I managed to be positive in the end (132.4 P, 2.11 R).

I'll only slightly adjust my Trading Plan.
The focus for the next 20 campaigns will be set on a higher DS and better entries by observing the "whole picture" a bit more (Alligator on D1, ...).
