Thoughts before taking the trade
Purpose is DS=100%

I am within a wave when I spot this setup. It looks like a setup1. My thoughts are it could be a setup1 with wave 5, or within wave 3. But it is a setup 1 so I’ll take it.
Alligator asleep at blue dot.
AO relatively close to ZL.
Purple just outside Aims box on correct side.
Aims box tight enough.
Exit point is close enough. I will adjust my exit as price goes up. 

Reflections
Sleeping Alligator, I enter at bar with the blue dot.
Moved SL to entry level when green bar closed above 1R. Moved SL to 1R when there came a <50% body candle bar. Take at least 1R was my thought here. Exit at 2R.
Nice trade.
Looking at screenshot 2. I think this was a wave 3. Because after that wave we enter a wave that looks like a wave 4. And there is a very slight divergence in the AO bars.

Purpose is DS=100% 

2R is the goal. I also put the Fib Ext in to see how this pans out. Target zone 1 is 0.618. I put the balloon on 0.75 by accident.
It’s a hair short of being a Setup 0. Purple line just outside Aims box on correct side.

Looks like this was wave 5, as there is divergence. 
2R is less than Target Zone 1. 

Question: does that imply that if 2R is higher than target zone 1, you should not take the trade?

Great work keeping a journal and updating it. 

ON this particular trade, I think you still have to refine your understanding of a SETUP 1.. You must see a CLEAN clear wave 3 followed by a FLAT wave 4 and then take trade into Wave 5. Don't assume, make sure it is what it is.

1-2-2022: no trade done. I did not see  nice setup 1.
Did some backtesting (looking back in the ETH chart) and posted a question in the Setup analysis forum.

Thoughts before taking the trade
Purpose is DS=100%
I need a CLEAN wave 3.  

Price is taking a dump since somewhere in the afternoon, after being rangebound for some time. I see a clean wave 3. Wave 3 came out of a tight range. Price is doing a retrace now, and I expect to see further downside movement. Alligator is almost asleep, let’s see what happens and if it will go down. Then it’s a trade.
Put all the usual drawings in the chart.
2R is the goal. I also put the Fib Ext in to see if it gets to Target zone 1 at 0.618.

Purple line outside Aims box on correct side. One could debate if this too far away maybe?

This was a nice trade. Quite fast, in the 3rd candle it reached goal 2R. Exit.
It was just a hair short of getting to 0.618 Fib Ext.

Looking back, and with Immy’s comments, trade 13 was not a DS1. So corrected that here in total.

There is a clean wave 3 and a retrace below ZL in AO. So I expect a nice Setup1. I have been waiting a bit until it really happened.

2R is the goal. I also put the Fib Ext in to see if it gets to Target zone 1 at 0.75. Exit will be 2R because that is closer (more safe). 

Reflections
This was a good trade. Everything done as planned. Price only just reached 2R. I think it’s a good idea to see if 2R or 0.75 Fib is closer, I want to stay on the safe side. As I am writing this, price just went up and reached TZ1 at 0.75 Fib. I am OK with 2R. I followed the plan.

Good attitude. Keep them separate, otherwise you will not focus on ds1 or be in ‘the zone’. Only in my opinion…. Some people can multi task lol .

There is a clean wave 3 and a retrace just above ZL in AO. Alligator sleeping.
AO close to ZL.
Purple on correct side outside Aims box.
Aims box very tight, so putting PO one Aims level higher.
Exit at 2R very close. I’ll go for TZ1 = 0.75 Fib with a trailing SL. I do this because Aims box is so very tight.
Entry in candle with the second blue dot.
2R is the first goal. Second is 0.75 Fib with trailing SL.

Reflections
This was a good trade. Trailing SL done. 0.75 Fib only just got hit, but it got there. 2R was already safe with trailing SL.

There is a very clean wave 3 and a retrace just above ZL in AO.

Exit at 2R is very close. I’ll go for TZ1 = 0.75 Fib with a trailing SL.

This was an OK trade. Trailing SL done. Got stopped out at candle with blue dot at Break Even.
