I passed on this set up, the PO would have been above H1 aims which was too far into the wave for me, so my initial Sl was too big....

Grant, took me a few moments but think i have what u are saying...
From my screenshot the red dotted line above the "entry box" is my 1H high, so you would have placed your PO above that to prevent possible 1h retrace risk, hence your PO would then incur the wide +18 SL???

Damn, discipline does not get better than that... (wd)

18 pips is too many in my book...

Took border line setup as per red block. (let me use "by discretion")
In the box earlier entry (counter puprle) could have been an option, Still feeling it out.
+5.8 pips 4%

SL was hefty 14 pips.

Had clear w3 before, divergence, 1h high/61.8 of swing confluence.
Took SL to under aims box at candle 14.
Had early divergence as per blue line, AO momo loss but held till red dot to close. Hope to hit preset TP was a misleading feeling....

Comments welcome.

Note (TDI) i use for divergence is 14 RSI.

I show two trades i took:

#1: Aims setup short. +5.8 pips
#2: Discretionary long against purple. +17.8 pips (i'm a divergence disciple)
As can be seen, a valid AIMS setup did appear later which would have given me much less pain....

So forgive the non-AIMS setup i show. I hope i am not sticking my hand into the kettle water to check the temp... 8-}
I can say, the second trade i only took because of AIMS facilities.... It just puts a lot of wave action into perspective for me..... ^:)^

Roast me or just forgive me... O:-)
