Re: Nikita`s journal
Hi, I looked at your chart from yesterday
I think the 2nd entry was fine, but in my opinion you were about 20 minutes late with the first one..... Perhaps you were trying an advanced technique to try and get the 5th wave, however it hadn't had its 4th until 10 or 15 minutes later, which I guess is the move you tried to catch but the stop loss stole your money
Yesterday was a challenging day to say the least

I wish more people would come on here to share something on their journals

Re: Nikita`s journal
Thank you, Ray, for your comments! 1st enter i couldnt manage earlier due to m5 gator. It was not open widely. 2nd one.. SL is SL. And you are right, i was trying w5.
This day was only m5 trades. Which i didnt managed as i should..
UJ - it wasnt a clear m5 s1, but give it a try. Usd/Chf - very nive and most profitable setup for today. I had to leave so closed it. But.. oh well, next time. What you could see here is already a progress for me!
One day i ll manage it properly! EJ.. I set Trailing stop.. that was a mistake. It moved my SL not to BE, but locked + 4pips.. These 4 pips cost me 40pips.. Next.
But i m doing step by step in right direction.
Will apreciate any comments, critics and advices.

Re: Nikita`s journal
Nikita, they're excellent entries. For me, the best thing is your timing with the first fractal break. EJ could have been great with an AIMS trailing stop loss but no worries. The important thing is that you're showing that you know what the setup is. Well done.
Now, I choose to make a profit in trading.

Re: Nikita`s journal
It was a nice am trading wich lasts a little longer than usual.
A quick dax trade. (m1/m5) And gold trade. Due to big box size - my RR is not impressive.

Today was DAX day.
All begins with a full rent. I naive and have faith in LO.
Then i had to do all to overcome my loss.

Re: Nikita`s journal
It was a harsh day..
I m still thinking about my approach. From one side - 1% per session is more than enough, from the other hand - i cant bet feeling that i m missing so much opportunities.
I remember Immys story about fisherman. But i m still like in a fog.
Taday i was able to do 2%, but instead, according to my plan, i closed half. Than comes 2 losses in a raw, and i was down 1%.
Managed to finish this day at BE..
But i m asking myself - does it worth it?
May be it s better to take your 1-2% and relax, or may be it was just not the best day for my m5 trades. My GU rent ate all my profits, that is why i was slightly sad.
I d like to hear any comments, oppinions and advices.

Re: Nikita`s journal
Hello Nikita,
my 2 cents buddy...Trading M5/M1 is quit challenging, since "things" move very fast. You must have clear view of inputs/exits/add ons, and execute them almost "as a reflex". This is a specific trading style. So in my opinion, the question is "is trading M5/M1" YOUR trading style?
That said, believe me, it is definitely "worth it"!!! Learn learn learn, what could appear obvious at first glance, is not actually...The more you practice, the more you'll understand, "see"...until you say to yourself "ahah...that's it, I got it!!!"...
Keep going buddy, keep going!!!

Please change the settings of your eWave to 00 in both fields. Its best to see the crossover from red to green and back. The orange bars are helpful but only for the very early days. cheers

The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
