LIVE NEWS trade on CAD

Unread post by rsaemy »

So excited about that trade because it is the first news trade I take with 0.2 lot size instead of 0.01 :rofl
The trade was on USDCAD trading CPI news
I used a VPS to minimize latency and it paid off

I made 60$ on 200$ and that makes me so happy

Hi, interesting point .. :)

Its good to be absolutely honest and crystal clear about your trading activities, its good for yourself, and I'm not suggesting you're not. I'm sure you're being true to "yourself". The point I want to make, is that taking a winning trade does not make you a better trader or a better person, neither does taking a losing trade defines you as a good or bad trader or a good or bad person. Its just a trade. We as traders hae to learn to disassociate our feeling of self worth and self esteem with the balance of our accounts and our performance levels. when that happens, the doors to money pouring in are wide open... but as long as we are stuck with yourself, inside... its gonna be a difficult time... and as it is said, one can only talk about oneself, you can never really tell someone about them, we can only talk our self to others... So this is me...

lovely talking to you as always ... lets face our inner selves, together... Lets love the way we are. because you are unique... there is no one like you. And whether we make good or bad trades... we are still GREAT PEOPLE ...

ps: there was once upon a time when i would only share "profitable" trades. The logic I gave was, rents are rents, there is nothing to show there. But it was a big mistake. You can't close your eyes and say, lets not focus on negativity. No the problem is different. There is Nothing negative about losing trades. The rent trades, or profit trades are exactly the same. I then learned to qualify my trades by a different scale. A different way to weight them. Yes, the answer was T20. Is it a Setup... We started shouting this again and again in the chatroom.. Is this a Setup? if it is, you bloody take it. What happens after you take the setup, is totally out of anybody's control. The only thing you can control is NOW and what will possibly happen. You set you TP , you set your SL and you set your trade management plan and execute it accordingly. thats all you can do.

That's absolutely true Immy
I am not ashamed of any losing trades on the other hand i learn more from losing trades than winning ones.
No doubt winning gives confidence but losing trades tweaks our experience further for better future trades :)
