I was wondering which indicator you use for the dots. I am currently using AIMS Entry Alert V5.3 http://www.itradeaims.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=962. I thought V6 beta was a newer version http://www.itradeaims.net/forum/viewtop ... f=34&t=841. For some time i was using a 5.2 version wich was provided by SNORM ewave indicator. So what indicator do you use.

The v6 isnt used atm, the only difference was voice alerts for dots, since it spammed you with alerts and you need extra files for all the voices it was dropped, im using the 5.1 like most, .2 and .3 only have some extra configurations so any of the version 5 works perfectly

Thanks for the clarification. I think you bring up an important point. How do we know which are the most current indicators and which ones have problems? I thought the double arrow indicator (AIMS Setup 1 Version 2 Advanced ?) was more likely to produce a winning trade? Then I ran into problems and thanks to arjan I was able to find BWMFI indicator and stop the circular calls.

I also note on your journal that there is some kind of circles appearing on your charts. I have seen this on other charts . Is this a new update of the fruit or seed template?

Its very simple: you dont need updated indicators, the setup ebook tells you to use v5.1 and it works forever. There are some minor updates like 5.2 or 5.3 but they are mostly visual configurations, show a couple more lines or different colors, or quality of life updates... If you follow the original ebooks on setup or fruit you really dont need any update to make it work, and in most cases you can find different versions in the forum and what they change in their discussion threads.
For example for fruit theres a 2.x version and 4.0 version and 5.0 version.. the main difference is that the 4.0 and above filter more signals so shows less signals and theres an option to show apples only and it was intended to be added to other strategies like having hunt + apples only. You can trade the fruit with the older v2.5 or the newer v4/v5 , you will have more signals on older ones and have to filter the best ones, but in the new versions you have less signals but might miss some good ones, at the end its up to you and your preference.
The packs Immy made for setup and fruit have the recommended ones and searching forums for others versions will not give better results, in fact some of the newer versions arent used by most people here, for example I use the 5.1 package with setup gator boxes ,etc... other versions dont really add anything I need.
So the packs you get on the "just joined forum" or the fruit package on its thread are the ones we recommend and they contain the best versions at the moment, they were updated not long ago.

Other threads like Double arrow Indicator predate the 5.1 even, that is an old indicator that was abandoned as I mentioned in its thread that someone ressurected without looking at date, its a very old indicator and now obsolete, we leave it for nostalgia and curiosity so anyone can see how we evolved thru time. What it does I have no clue since I never used it but it was part of the setup v2 .. were already on the v5, anything that it brought in was surely implemented into the later versions.

The light blue dots and circles are seeds and cherries, the Hunt signals. If you have the Hunt package you can find the latest hunt indies there as well as a newer version of the fruit indies, and a bunch more.
