Hi, rather late, just some results
Had too many trades today, but anyway, ended up with 1,12 %. There were good and bad ones. In the morning I was not really focussed.

19:21 : -8.6
11:01 : +9.6
11:44 : +11.7
13:00 : - 7.9
13:29 : + 16.9
16:25 : + 2.2 and 2 BE, this is 19.9
GU :

Hi Steve,

My thoughts are the following:
The visual picture of the differently shifted lines show crosses, which would appear much later, if you compare only the current values.
The pic shows e.g. green and red[i+2] at the same time bar, same with red and blue[i+3].
So the shifted lines "show" crosses , which the real EMA values don't have yet.
This is a kind of future projection, which derives from the different curvatures of the lines.

Looking at the end of the lines, the following happens:
Lime Red : Cross occurs up to 2 M5 bars before reality and you can see it 3 bars in advance additionally, makes 25 min earlier
Lime blue : Cross occurs up to 5 M5 ( blue shift - lime shift )bars earlier and can be seen 3 bars (lime shift ) earlier : 40 min
red blu : Cross occurs 3 ( blue shift - red shift ) bars earlier and can bee seen 5 bars ( red shift ) earlier : 40 min

On Sunday, I 've written an indicator, which shows me exactly the M5 line crosses in M1, how I see them in M5. I wanted to have the same semantic on M5 and M1.
I wanted to see, whether there's a difference and how M1 reacts on lime-red, lime-blue and red-blue crosses, which one is the most powerful ? Is there a difference depending on the timely behaviour of the crosses, all at once or very slow.....
Look at some pics of it.
The meaning is obvious : arrow is the crossing line and square with cross the crossed line.
They appear in M1 chart exactly when they can be seen in m5.

Everything clear ?
Hope you enjoy the fiddly work !

Bettina! My complete admiration for your insight and work. (wd)

Dots or some character that appears on a FX chart, in the retail trader culture of today, has ring-fenced too many potentially successful traders into detachment of their own abilities. Not you... ;)

Our AIMS dots of course are simply a visual confirmation that a price candle has overcome one/combination of the alligator lines as dynamic S/R levels, combined with direction of alligator trend. Very much so for every other higher time-frame projected onto lower time-frame as you show.

Having this understanding, we can of course then see a dot before it appears..... and understand it's meaning fully, or to put it directly, be in present time with Price. B-) , simply understanding what we need to know from our now infamous alligator. :D

Bettina, you remind me of one of my favourite quotes:
PRICE OF FREEDOM: Constant alertness, constant willingness to fight back. There is no other price.”

Such is our mind's journey of conquering the markets.

Hi Herbert,

your answer is very good and very diplomatic, I understand what you want to tell me.
Nevertheless I permanently feel misunderstood - by all posts regarding this topic !

1 ) I thought, comments on Alert v6.0 Beta would be welcome: My comment is, that the Bill Williams Alligator shown in M5 chart and the ?Alligator, used to calculate the arrows seem to be not the same - whatever the consequences are.

My question regarding this comment was, whether this is intentionally done or being not aware.

2 ) Whether this is relevant for trading success or not is not really the point , or should be solely up to the founder.
My question to the champs was, whether it could be !!

3) For me it is essential, because my brain alerts on felt inconsistencies, keeping my mind away to be in the write state, permanently asking why this and what's that and oh - there was a cross, why doesn't it ...........
If I want to take good trades, there shouldn't be any questions left. My mental work is not to pray mantras, but to keep away disturbing turbulences and permanent forward rolls - but that's only me !!!!!!!!!!

ok, last comment on this ;)

After having had a small winner of 1.7 at 09:50 (GMT+2),
I had a nicer one with 10.6 and a "rent avoider" of 0.2

Nice Trade Bettina!

The 10 pipper you had is my favourite setup. The arrows are designed to alert me to these setups. We took it and my exit was exactly on the same candle as yours. I filtered the next trade. Had a losing day yesterday so I thought I'll just hold on to my 10 pips 1% up, and since I might not be trading during NY Session It would be best to hold on to my profits. I probably would have closed that other trade exactly as you. My reason for not trading also included TZ1 being too close as well.

cheers

Nice one Bettina.

I had been waiting for this all day. And, as our friend Murphy has described in his list of laws, there was a power failure here for about one hour just before all the smilling faces and arrows.

Happy for you though. Good job (wd)

Hi Spyros,

sorry for you, but we simply have to accept Murphy.

Immy, I'm really fond of your favourite setup. Being busy with the alligator, I've intensively watched, how powerful the freshly open alligator is after having slept. Must have a great coffee ! Much better than mine in the morning.

The second one was an "exercise" trade for me. I really want to get more experience in avoiding the full rent of 10 without missing larger trades. So I took it, even knowing that it wouldn't be too much.
