Perfect and done and dusted...

Now you're understanding that the HUNT is not a new mechanism of trading... its a new mechanism of "entry" ...

we basically trade the SAME Pattern (wink) as you all know... but within it we now have extra ways to GET IN so good decision making there gal ...

I think perhaps staying in the NOW has its benefits... The SL is NOT hit yet. You don't know if it will be hit or not (cheeky, me with benefit of time ... i know it has not hit your SL) as we speak its broken below hte lows... The Trade has been taken with in a Sideways "h1" cahrt... clearly you can see that hte high and low of the wave you're considering as 3 are within the h/l of price boxes to the lef.t but that's ok. its still a setup.

Trade No. 14

Date: 5-7-17

Pair:Gold

Signal Type: Cherry H4, also an apple on H1 and a setup 1 on H1 now.

Timeframe: H4

I'm Currently in the trade, I'll update of outcome shortly. I took that signal because it was valid. However I couldn't help myself and saw that on d1 a.) approaches a major support line and created a pattern to my eyes which is saying it is going up. However I still wanted to trade the actual signal as it is a valid one. Will be interesting to see the outcome.

DS 0

Outcome: It hit my TP which was set at a major support line I couldn't help to ignore. So I didn't chase 2R as usual. I'm ok giving myself a DS 0 (other than Immy advises something else), even though my trading Plan does recommend to go with levels to the left if they are rather obvious e.g like gold.

Balance: 1.2R profit

Trade No. 16
Date: 6-7-17

Pair:UsdChf

Signal Type: Setup 1

Timeframe: H1

DS: Not sure

OUTCOME: 1R Loss

Balance:

I gave this another go, Pedro already commented levels to the left, maybe I should not have taken it and known better. I feel it's a hard one because it could have gone either way at the end of the day. Happy though to give myself a DS 0.

So on your first entry you saw those levels to the left, and it bounced right at them not reaching your tp, what you should have done is see if you have the sl to be at that level, at least 1R of space for it to move, its part of the filter rules, is there enough room for tz1? so Initially we look for trades with 2R of room to move.. as we learn and advance we might take this riskier trades but having at last 1R for the sl to be so when it bounces of those levels, which it did, we would have our SL at Breakeven at least. this is the kind of liberty we take when advancing stages, but the filter rules are still there and always important to follow the stage 1 rules, for someone starting it might seem the later stages users are bending the rules alot to catch profits but there is still a method and places where you can bend the rules, its not a gut feeling, it comes with experience, and you only do what you understand why you do it, no point in imitating some method just because that other person used it, you have to understand it fully, why its used, when, and how to spot that exact same situation.
Also getting back in.. you need a pretty good explanation to justify that to yourself.. if your first entry was perfect and failed while are you getting back in in a trend that stopped? Doing the same thing and expecting the outcome to be different? Isn't that the definition of insanity? =D

Just some things to think about!

Keep up the good work!
