Very enlightening as ever.

I have spent the past week reading Bill Williams books and the inspiration this has given me is enormous. Another source of inspiration was found reading ‘Profitunity (Chaos) Trading System by Bill Williams’ on a certain forum. I particularly liked the contributions from Yousafzai and the explanation of the system he creates. Immy: =p~

Armed with this new found inspiration, Aims and a much better understanding of Elliott Waves and how to read and project the waves, I see 2013 being a very special year.

Thanks for all you have done so far it is greatly appreciated.

Richard

Good to know, you're armed with the power of Elliott Wave too! I look forward to your journal during the new year. It would be nice to have you back in the journal world! what do you say!

Immy

Having a better understanding of Elliott Waves has allowed me to take one of the biggest steps up the trading ladder I have ever taken. I now have more confidence in not only taking the trades but also letting them run to the 1.618 or 2.618 etc. fibo levels and therefore, better able to maximise the profits I take with each trade. I draw in the levels on my charts each morning and update them throughout the day and have a mentor who keeps me right with the counts. It is amazing how many times they work out.

My trading style has changed of late and although I am still using Aims it is not 100% the Aims strategy. I tend to trade M5 and M15 along with the daily chart much more now as these allow me to keep up with my wave counts much better. M1 at present tends to be too fast.

I still actively read the forum each day and will continue to do so. Will I continue with my Journal in 2013? Lets see.

Richard!

Thank you. HEre is one from EU today!
You can say that this trade was exactly the same as the UJ!

I think I should have stayed in and got 28 pips! but hey ho... the plan was 20 anyway. I got 12 which is 1%! so happy about it with a bonus on EJ 10 pips.

12 is a good enough result. 1% daily and you're well on your way. Brick building, with the bricks getting bigger!

It had been an uneventful asian session, and the up-move happened in the Europe/London opening. Could have gone either way, purple lines being close etc,

I just wonder how you might have derived the faith to go for a 20 tp?
I just didnt have that faith, couldn't see in m5 any fib extensions or evidence of w5 so, I targeted 6 pips, did one trade, then another time later after another dot alert and when the price jumped out of the box again.....perhaps it was a w5 of sorts after all, on m5, but if so w3 was short and sharp and w4 was nothing to worry about. Kind of made 1pc twice, and seeing I have the time to sit in front of screen long hours, if I could only just target more small trades of that kind I'd be well on my way as aims has helped me get 20/day i.e. 100 pips a week in the past from doing just that.....
Discipline and patience are key.
I wish more people would come on here to share something on their journals

IF YOU CANT EXPLAIN IT SIMPLY YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND IT WELL ENOUGH (Einstein)

1% daily gain, compounded for 250 trading days, (approximately one year) would produce 1103% account growth
