Re: The SEED
Afternoon,
Thursday and Friday were not the greatest days for me.... Just seemed to be chart watching at the wrong times. C'est la vie..
Good to see in other journals that the method is working, now i have to be around at the right times...
Fridays effort attached which includes the weekly figure... A rent week, the first in a while.... no drama, bring it on next week...

Grant!
Well traded buddy. All that matters is that you were there to trade the setups and you traded them. We know for SURE that in the long run your account is gradually rising. We will have rent days, we might have rent weeks occasionally but we will still continue growing our accounts that's for sure! Every trade is a new trade, a unique experience and there is always tomorrow... hoping you're enjoying your weekend...
pst: lost match today mate... feeling anti chuffed

Re: The SEED
Don't trade the ~seeds until you clearly see the market is moving. Simples Dimples and Pimples.
Just sit on your hands... don't create the trend. let them create it for you and wait ... when you're absolutley sure the market is moving nicely... trade the seeds and you'll make good good profit

Re: The SEED
Evening.
So Frankfurt had all the fun moving Price past its 5 day ADR after the Greeks were saved. Which left a lovely 85 pip range from LO which is still in tact as i type. Despite this it was a better trading day...

Re: The SEED
Hi Grant,
Many thanks again for sharing your trades and wisdom with us! Please keep it up helping us to become a Seeder!
Quick question on your recent exits: I understand you move your SL to BE after reaching 1:1 and keeping it there as long as 1:3 has not been hit. If so, what let you close yesterday's trades 2, 3, 5 and 10 before hitting 3%? Is this just your exceptional ability of reading the market, which makes the difference?
Trade 2 looks like closing at AIMS level; trade 3 looks like trailing five candles but not sure about 5 and 10. If so, is it because of the current market that you are more aggressive with your SL?
Thanks,
Ralf

Morning Ralf,
Thanks for the Qs...
I'll move to BE after i see a warning sign at around 1:1, so if we get a fruit or we hit a HTF aims level (m5 or higher). I wont just move to BE at 1:1...
I will actually start a trail if i can lock in 1:2 or better... That said in the last few days the market hasn't moved far hence i have taken just under 1:2 on occasions...
As for the trades :
2. aims trail exit
3. same colour candle trail
5. i can't remember exactly but will have been a HTF level or TZ1...
10. was an m15 level..
If i was more confident that the market was actually moving somewhere i would have let 5 and 10 run a bit longer but with the last few days of PA i took a decent return..
Hope this helps
Grant

Re: The SEED
Hi Grant,
could you exactly explain when you will enter an IB2? Or what exactly is an IB2?
Why is trade 10 an AA Entry?
Thank you
Silas

IB2s are where price breaks an aims level then prints a seed with the ewaves still very close to the 0 line. They don't happen very often..
As for trade 10 it's a fruit on an ewaves pullback, which for the ease of keeping track of trades I class as an AA. So you are correct it's not technically an AA....
Cheers
