Second trade this morning for 0pips.

Took the break of the 5min high with a 10sl and 10tp. Price shot up and missed the tp by 2 pips. I moved sl to break even and let the move do its own thing. had it been the first trade of the day I might have taken it for +5.

This is unbelievable. It ook the same trade, with same result. It just did not feel right so I trailed candles straight away. B-)

I can't believe we are the end of yet another month. Only traded for 3 weeks this month but had a very good one. Most of my trades came in 3 separate days with the 11th yielding 8.45% alone.
What suprises me about my months trading is the lack of H1 & H4 trades. In previous months this has been my main stamping ground.

Have a great weekend.

First of all , thank you for all your contribution and getting involved and sharing your results with us. Secondly, congratulations on another beautiful month. I'm sure you'd see why I stick to M1 M5's and rarely trade H1's. M1's is a life spent in a time capsule! Addictive very addictive (at least its true for me)

Have a Great Weekend! You really do need to treat yourself! I sit in awe :ymdaydream:

For some reason I really struggled with my trading today.
I was working from home so had plenty of chart time and maybe that was the problem, 'I had too much chart time'. Anyway my head was in the clouds today and I forgot to post my trades so here are the first two. Both EUR-USD M1, +3 and +1pip (+0.4% in total).

My third trade of the day was a stupid one. I went chasing a setup 2 on cable M1, I said to myself as I saw the trigger candle shoot up 'that candle is too big' I quickly went to close the trade for around +5pips and then left it but moved my sl in tight and got stopped out for -3 (-0.3%).

Thankfully I am on site working tomorrow and will only trade for around 3 hours in the morning. It is these days that I am most productive which makes me think I need to work more on been patient.

Richard!

Good recovery. I think the best part of a journal is the recording of the thought process. This may not sound too much for beginners but in reality these little things is what makes a good trader a good trader. Its a constant learning process. Thanks Richard for sharing that!

cheers

I got up at 6:30 as usual this morning, I sat at my pc and for some reason had no interest in looking at the charts so I didn't.

My head was buzzing with other things so I had an early start at work. So no chart time and as a result no trades for me today. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

I watched the charts between 7 and 8am but was not happy with my state of mind so shut down my pc and did something else for the day.

I may not be taking any trades but the way i feel at the moment it is a good thing. I am preserving the pips I already have.

I have not had my trading head on this week so for the large part decided to leave the charts alone and concentrate on other things.

In total I took 3 trades, 2 wins and 1 rent for the staggering total of +1pip (+0.1%).

Have a great weekend.
