Hi Grant,
I run into this case as I describe in the attached image. Please kindly recommend what's best to do.

Re: Grants Journal
Morning ,
by trailing AIMS i mean this :
if we are in a long trade we trail behind the AIMS lows and if we are in a short trade we trail behind the AIMS highs.
So in you example there is an AIMS low formed between your entry and trigger candle SL i would move my SL as close to my entry as possible until it is at BE at least.
After that if a new level forms and it would only lock in 1-3 pips i would leave it at BE knowing its a free trade and it has a little more breathing room...
hope this helps

Re: Grants Journal
Hi Grant
Quick question, the trade at 11.07, I had my order at 13140, with my level at 13141.9, I see you set 13139 as your entry, I was just wondering what your order rules are in terms of price in relation to the aims level?
Thanks
Mike

Re: Grants Journal
HI Mike,
long round up to 4 decimal places +3
short round down to 4 decimal places -2
i like to see both bid and ask prices outside the aims level before it triggers my entry....

Re: Grants Journal
Hi
Do you find that the OA at 11:07 was not too old?
Thanks

Re: Grants Journal
HI Moty,
no i dont think so, price had created a 22 candle saddle point with the aims levels getting closer together. at the same time the AO stayed orange for the majority of that saddle, so it was just winding up for a breakout...
sitting here now and looking at the m1 chart it seems we were 1 swing to early.... sigh

Hi Grant
Sorry, but probably because of my poor English I can not understand you.
Can you please explain again on the chart attached (I see the red OA at the time)
Sorry again.

Re: Grants Journal
HI moty,
i have attached a pic of what i saw using the new 5.1 indicators...
from the 1st yellow vertical line the AO has stayed close to 0 line and remaining orange, when the first down dot appeared at 1100 the 0 line was crossed down. Price then stayed with in the AIMS low level but made a lower aims high.
we then get the dot at 1107 and the alligator starting to wake up and separate heading down which tells me that momentum was to the downside so i placed my PO under the aims level and was filled with the AO close to the 0 line..
hope this helps
