Well no trades for me today. I'll try again tomorrow with the EU Economic summit out of the way, we might get some movement.

Thursdays trades.

Took the first trade of the 15m chart and took same heat for it. 24 pips
t37.gif
Now if I had waited for the 1 m chart and place my order at the arrow then there would have been no heat at all.
t37a.gif
The next 2 trades were -3 & 3 pips. Total for day 24 pips.

That’s it am officially bore, time to quite before I start taking trades for the sake of it.

Just one trade for today. I was hoping to get 20 pips from this one using the days high at the zero's but as soon as it stalled I bailed for 14 pips.

Result for the week 70 pips

Have a good weekend everyone.

I know it’s not quite the end of the month, but the wife’s watching strictly, and it’s more convenient for me to do it now.
So how’s it gone this month? Well here’s the result.

Week 1, 45 pips
Week 2, 98 pips
Week 3, -13 pips, in all fairness I only traded 1 day this week and this was not down to trading conditions.
Week 4, 70 pips

Total for the Month, 213 pips
19.5% account growth. My target for the month was 10 - 15%
The best news of all is I never hit my emergency trading stop of 3%.

The only advice I can offer is to study Grants trades, what I do is copy them onto a demo account then scroll though them with the f12 key. You will be surprised how quick they build a picture if you copy them after each post. Very tight stops, while keeping the profits offered. Keep the charts coming Grant.

Thank You, Imran. I feel I’ve still got a long way to go to catch up to yours & Grants level, but my confidence keeps growing with the passing of each week. I still can't get my head around Elliot waves, I don't think I am negative as you suggested in an earlier post, just I'm more black or white with my approach to things. And Elliot waves are not consistent from what I can see or read in the posts on the forum. Still the method is proving to be strong enough to be traded without using Elliot waves.

Todays trades.

Trade 1. Took 11 pips when we had a small retace. 1.4039 was were it had previously retaced to so jumped out at first sign of price coming back.
t41.gif
Trade 2. Lost 1 pip, I was hoping we were going to have a break away from the zeros.
