I will try to post all of my trades for the day from now on. Warts and all!

Today I missed the big move down but managed a couple of nice trades. Slightly up overall but should have been a nicely profitable day as I missed so much and made a mistake with the stop loss on a GU trade. Oh well! :)

Three trades so far today. All winners.

I have decided to cut down to EU and GU on the M1/M5 as it may be more profitable as I shouldn't miss any setups. We shall see. I am also only trading 0.5% per trade for a few days to boost my confidence as I realised I wasn't taking all of the setups available. I will ramp it back up to 1% in a few days hopefully. :)

Up about 1.2% today so far at half risk. Nice start to my new plan! :)

Stick to it mate... good plan! Stick to it... if you could do 1% a week, you'll destroy banks!

Cheers Immy.

No trades today amazingly as I seemed to be in and out of the house all day and couldn't concentrate properly on the huge moves! Shame as it looks like it would have been a nicely profitable day! :)

and yes, very well done on deciding to watch fewer pairs... you'll see that you will trade better...

I kept asking everyone... to stick to one pair, sadly hardly anyone listens to me... they think if they don't look at other pairs they will miss out... the fact is, and it remains... the moment you watch more than 1 pair, you will get confused... you will compare and pick and chose and its really not about how cleverly you chose your pair, its about stupidly bluntly following your simple plan based on a certain statistical edge. its a case of simply laying them bricks using the same procedure over and over... in Forex LESS IS MORE.. the same is true for Life in general IMHO>

A small winner this morning which has been my only trade so far today. As I am only trading half risk it made 0.35% (would have been 0.7% at 1% risk) which I am happy with as every day so far this week has been profitable with my new plan (apart from yesterday when I didn't take any setups!) :). Again, I missed a lot of setups for various reasons, mostly as I was driving at the time as has been the case all week, but it shows how you can still come out on top without catching the 'mega' moves!

I am on holiday in Devon next week as it is half term for the kids but I still plan on trading a bit in the morning. :)

No trades yesterday and just the one today after NFP was released. Still at 0.5% risk but still made 1% on this one trade. I had the same setup on GU but I am in a holiday cottage at the moment and I keep losing broadband at the wrong time. I lost connection just as I was about to send in my PO on GU which was a shame. I was already in EU and panicked a bit as I don't like not seeing how the trade is going, so as soon as connection came back I closed half. In hindsight I should have had faith in the setup as it easily made it to 1:1 and continued well. The market did continue after I was stopped but it was still a nice trade. :)

This was a high probability trade and it comes every first friday. You dont need to trade 3 pairs for this, just one is enough and a 1% gain is all we need. I however managed a 1:7 on this one as discussed and called for on my blog. I was supposed to come into chatroom to do this but I just did not find the time. http://www.itradeaims.com/2013/10/post- ... -post.html well done!

cheers
