I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.

Re: Higher Time Frames
Hi All,
I knew there was a HTF thread on this forum somewhere. Apologies for posting in Journals previously. I have been spending quite a lot of time formulating my plan to trade dailies incorporating the Seed/Fruit methodologies in tandem with the classic Set up.
As I am now GMT +7 it is not always practical for me to trade the main three markets as I want to. 7-9am in the UK wsa great but I moved to Australia to enjoy the perfect climate and fish and dive and do all sorts of other fun stuff with my kids OUTDOORS ! FO/LO are slap bang in the middle of the day here but I enjoy trading, always have so have struggled to find that key balance. It was easy in the UK as it was constantly pissing down with rain so home based activities are more the norm, though that is not a good thing ! Sure you can make more money trading but you have to spend it on umbrellas !
Immy, you mentioned previously on this thread spending a lot more time on HTFs (and spending half a year abroad) and I wondered if you'd done that.
So, I was keen to know if anyone else was trading dailies. I saw posts from Immy about those with larger accounts making that natural progression to HTFs. This is absolutely a logical step. We all start day trading for the lower margins. It's the way to do it, leverage is key. Where else can you get so much leverage from such small beginnings. I can see a core group doing really well on M1/M5 and M5/M15.
However HTFs are far more reliable and I am curious as to what AIMSters are doing on dailies or weeklies. I can see a lot of people utilisng H1 but is anyone out there trading dailies? The most fun you can have trading is making money while you sleep.
I will begin a journal of dailies but by it's nature it will be a fairly slow burner but I hope it will be useful for anyone who has planned methodically their route to the income they have specified they require from trading.
The question is shall I record the journal in journals or here in HTF thread, which doesn't seem to attract too many postings. I'd like to contribute and help as much as I can as I am always impressed by the attitude of people on here who understand sharing knowledge and insight is the best way to improve yourself and the greater good. Those that get involved hit their goals quicker.
Cheers

Re: Higher Time Frames
One more thing, I forgot.
I have some candle recognition software somewhere, if anyone is really struggling with Pin bars or IBs BCDs etc.
If you would like that indy please let me know. I won't post it on here but happy to send it to anyone that requests it. Nothing beats spotting on sight but this can help you if you're knew to it, I know it helped me way back.
Cheers

Re: Higher Time Frames
I remembered I have a divergence recognition indy somewhere too again if it's not immediately "at a glance" for you it may help.
I traded purely candle patterns combined with divergence purely straight for over three years and it was the most profitable methodology I ever devised. Combining this with AIMS is dynamite. I am so pleased these things have been added to complement. Leading indicators and very powerful, but not always the first thing people see. Again, I won't post the indy on here but if anyone wants it then I'm happy to send on request.
Cheers

Re: The M15/H1//D1 Corner
I'd like to share today yy trades on AU H1, Great Analysis yet unfortunate results. its part of the game. ITs not how good you analyse, its about how good you manage your trades and MM. The idea was this, discussed with Erik YD. I looked at the daily chart and it appeared that it had completed 1-5 up, using non other but the supreme 1 second elliott wave indicator... Yes Snorms AIMS eWave. Saw possible 1-2 downside. dropped to h1 to check the underlying structure of the 1-2.
Made entry within the aims box based on analyiss and put SL above AIMS levels. ADded on later on as it was S1 downside which triggered during Asian session. Held it all morning and then moved SL to entry levels.. the market said, thats it you made a mistake. You should have kept your SL where they were initially. oh well.
