Immy, all your h1 trades were based on h4 trend? (Just like we trade m1/m5. Wait for new wave + fresh ao + 1st break out and so on) .
Or you just look for a clear s1 and trade it with purple don't mind what h4 looks like?
The same story with D charts.

Good question. All the trades taken were based on current and 5x higher time frame analysis. EJ was taken on the daily breakout and then added on when it pulled back with 2nd add on at the next aims level. Kiwi was taken at the top of wave 5 on daily. It was a risky trade and hard to take. the EU was an S1 within Daily S1 as the daily gator was a sleeping gator and S1 signal on its own. We took the EU S1 to get in earlier on the possible S1 trade on the dailies. I should have actually added on to it on the daily break.

Now looking at Eur/GBP I see that my exit was too early..
I m still such a newbie.. ;)
Next time i will be more patient.

Does any one have statistic if it is more reasonable to use TP (1:3 RR) or to trail AIMS?

Hello, guys.
Looking at EU (h1) i see w1,w2,w3 and w4. But a glance at h4 made me hesitate because price (w4) didnt reach purple line as it usually do.
Here is a question - should we analyze higher TF that much, or it was enough to detrmine w4 on h1 (it reached the purple. and it was a nice flat) to make a descision?

Change The Purple

Unread post by immy »

My Friend Adem shared this with me ages ago but after careful consideration I have come to the conclusion that for current volatility levels and the market range the best way to trade H1 is in the direction of D1. And for that we have a different kind of Purple. Change Purple settings into 120Smooth Moving Average witht no shift. This will keep you in tuen with Daily Green line.

The New Purple for H1: 120SMMA No Shift

if you did that you'd be short on EU today.

cheers
