Hi
Last trade today and a nice way to finish with a 7 pip winner.

A lot of DA signals short for a potential wave 5 move, I entered at 12917 3 pips below the aims level, originally targetted the previous low of the day but exited manually when price stalled around 12909 and because I had to go out.

Cheers

Mike

Nice Mike! That was the trade I'm always waiting. Everything lined up - M5 and M15 also. I hope these will pop up when I'm trading also!

Good Morning all

No trades for me this morning EUR just didnt seem to want to play nicely. I did place one PO at 8.53 UK time but cancelled it almost immediately as I became concerned about all the levels to the left of the trade.

Anyway my dot analysis is posted below, will take a break now and come back for NYO

Cheers
Mike

Dot analysis
7.08 Blue Arrow AO too old
8.07 blue Arrow AO too old
8.17 Blue Arrow AO too old and diverged
8.20 Blue Arrow AO too old and diverged
8.37 Blue Arrow alligator heading down
8.49 Blue Arrow alligator heading down AO to far below zl
8.53 DA long PO placed at 12973, PO deleted before triggering
9.12 DA long M5 and then M15 levels too close
9.19 DA long M5 and then M15 levels too close

No clean setups that I could see for this afternoon except one that didnt trigger around 14.30 UK time. As M5 looks to have completed a wave 5 and it's fast approaching 4pm UK I think I'll call it a day for today.

See you all tomorrow

Mike

My afternoon Dot analysis
12.49 DA long AO too old
13.51 DA long alligator heading down and AO to far below zl
14.26 DA long alligator heading down but potential P5 setup (almost)
14.29 DA long PO placed at 12892 deleted by red dot at 14.36
14.36 Red dot not in line with trend on M5 and M15 also AO divergence on M1
14.45 Blue dot AO to far below zl and alli heading down
14.55 Red dot AO old and diverging and M5 level too close making entry too far away
15.17 DA long AO too old and aims box too big

Hi all
Another trade free morning for me, a few possible setups but nothing compelling, a combination of old AO and htf levels kept me out of the market.

signal analysis below
7.27 M5 level too close po below M5 and exit too far
7.47 Red Arrow alligator heading up
8.04 DA short AO too old
8.30 Blue dot AO old and entry above M15 high too far from exit
8.45 DA long AO too old
9.05 DA long Entry too close to days high entry above days high exit too far
9.32 DA long AO too old and diverging
9.44 DA long AO too old and diverging

Wave 5 looks to have formed on M5 so will take a break and another look at NYO

Cheers

Just saw this setup, and whilst the wave count did not look great the setup looked good sleeping alligator, fresh cross of AO and M5 and M15 both heading long hence the DA alert.

I moved my stop to b/e when price reached the M15 high. Stop got tagged but I thought this trade was worth a shot.

Calmly traded by my standards and happy that I followed a plan for my trade.

Picture below

Cheers

Hi

I'm interested in others views on this setup. I filtered it based on M15 and M5 being "extended", although on M1 was a valid setup. If I had traded it I would have entered at 129292 and exited with 10 pips profit.

Was I correct to filter or am I being too selective? I notice Tomi has posted similar concern.

Thanks in advance for your input

Hi Mike,

i took that trade but i can see why you didn't with the way m5/m15 looked at the time....

if you look at the m5 chart i have a high on the 1245 (UK) candle that coincides with the high of the AO which printed the wave 3 after which it lost momentum and changed colour.....

when it changed back on the high of 1340 (UK) price never actually made a new high so the divergence for wave 5 wasn't qualified thus a new high could still have been expected to make a proper wave 5....

if you look at these 2 peaks on the m1 chart then you will see that the high of 1340 made the b up inside a contracting triangle.... i now appreciate this is getting very technical.....

i hope i explained that ok
