Re: Sydney Kris' Journal
A rent on EU for during the Asian session today. I was a bit too quick and mis-timed this one. I took the H1 setup long as well, which is the active trade you can see on the image.

Also took this AU trade during the Asian session today. I started scaling out of the position when I got three consecutive BDCs on M5, and the last part of my trade was stopped out trailing AIMS levels. I missed the last push up, but I can't complain!

Some recent HTF trades.
Firstly a failed S2 on the EU H1 chart. Jumped the gun a bit on this one.

Next an EJ H4 seed. I closed this one conservatively before TZ1. I hadn't taken anything off the table, so was pretty happy to close it here.

Re: Sydney Kris' Journal
Last of the HTF trades for now is this UJ that I took on H1. While I am happy that it was a profitable trade, I managed it poorly in the end. I moved my stop loss to trail what I assumed was going to be an AIMS level before it actually formed. I was stopped out of the trade, but would really have liked to stay in. Should have just closed some of the position as a precautionary measure, and let the remaining trade run. Then again, wave 3 had diverged, so maybe not a bad result. However, the moving of the SL should have been based on such a grounded assessment, rather than an assumption.

Re: Sydney Kris' Journal
And now for today's day trades.
Firstly, I followed this AU trade from the Tokyo session right through until about 8:30pm Australian time. It was gratifying to watch it unfold, but I didn't add on as much as I would have liked. This is because I was watching other pairs at the same time, as well as going through my usual workday here at home and was very distracted. Still, little to complain about.
Note that the first entry was taken outside M15 fractal. I sometimes take such an entry when M5 alligator has been asleep for an extended period. Its a nice balance between not missing the trend on M5 and avoiding those dreaded whipsaws. It meant that I missed a few pips, but I can live with that. I also missed at least two whipsaws which would have cost me 1% each. I feel very satisfied to have traded an entire Elliot wave sequence on M5!

Re: Sydney Kris' Journal
And here are some UJ trades taken today. The first entry was again outside M15. I closed the first add on at BE.
The right hand side of the chart deserves some explanation: I took my initial entry here based on my assessment that the corrective wave sequence ABC was complete. I took the BDC long hoping to get into the next impulsive wave up. I added on, but unfortunately it looks like a tried to trade wave B (or possible wave 4 of C). Happy to have gotten away with a rent of -0.5% for the total position.
Interestingly, if I'd been mindful of the AO (which Bill Williams refers to as an "almost infallible indicator") I'd have waited for wave 5 of C to unfold before going long.

Re: Sydney Kris' Journal
Very agressive UJ and perfect AU!
May be later will try to check AU move, but now focused on EU and GU.
Nice trading!
