Re: Tom from Leeds's Journal
Good morning all, -1.5 pips -1.5% this morning. I moved my stop to break even on this trade but price went through it and I wasn't taken out? any ideas? I manually closed the trade for a small rent. -3.2 pips this week so far which is -0.32%. No worries at that, If i can keep my losers small and let my winners run I will be happy.

Re: Tom from Leeds's Journal
took a full 1% hit this morning. TZ1 was too close to my entry, I knew this before but still kept the order in place?? 3 losers on the trot now. it's time to work on my discipline and patience which I have let slip.

Re: Tom from Leeds's Journal
HI all, hope you have all had a profitable month. My figures for March are:
+5.8pips (0.58%) = 9 trades, 4 losers, 2 wins, 3 BE. average loss 4.8pips, average win 12.5pips.
After 2 months of trading this system my account is down 1.3%, but this month has been profitable for me. I will take the positives from the last 2 months into April, and will use the negatives in my trading so far and turn them into positives. If I do this month on month I will succeed. I have faith in the aims system and really believe everyone on the forum will succeed with the right mindset, time and perseverence.
Enjoy your weekends, Tom

Re: Tom from Leeds's Journal
No trades for me this morning, I had a PO set on UJ but deleted it after an exit signal. Looking back it wasn't the best setup as 5min wasn't in the same direction. I only want to trade in line with the 5min and look for the best setups, 1 or 2 nice trades a week is all I am seeking. I must remember this for my future sessions. I enjoyed my session this morning and i'm confident I can have another profitable month this month.

Same thoughts on that. I had a PO and Erik corrected me by saying, M5 is not trending that way. Later it did break downwards but I thought the M5 wave was too weak, out of momentum and old. So missed the short which did not really bring anything. Went long on Cable instead but closed Break even after those 9 green candles. The market has no power in it this am so far.
cheers

Re: Tom from Leeds's Journal
-4 pips on this UJ trade, I had the green dot which turned out to become a high fractal, the 2 following candles were lower which formed the upper aims box. I felt this was acceptable to then place an order long. Please can someone clarify the rules for me in terms of green/pink dot and new aims box. Do we need only an upper level to form to go long like I did in this trade, or do we wait for the upper level and higer low level to form to go long? and the reverse to go short. Immy / Grant I would really appreciate any input to clarify this for me.
Cheers, Tom

Re: Tom from Leeds's Journal
Hi Tom,
if a set up 2 dot appears then in the case of longs i wait for a new AIMS high, then check the rules again and place a PO if they are met, in the case of shorts after the dot wait for a new AIMS low and check the rules, placing a PO if they are met...
I personally only wait for the 1 new AIMS level to check the rules...
ON the UJ trade, it all looks good and my entry would have been 82.29, mother FX just didnt play ball....
hope this makes sense

Re: Tom from Leeds's Journal
Thanks grant I understand that much clearer now, I went in above 15min high which gave a slightly higher entry and my target was the 60min high. Next.. Thanks again!

Re: Tom from Leeds's Journal
Cant really add too much to Grants reply but I have something to say that may be worth considering. Referring to Chapter one, How to setup your screen. There are pictures of a perfect setup. It shows M5 Alligator wide open with a clean retrace back to the green and/or red line. That is when you look for Setup 1 on M1. So we wait for M5 to confirm its trend and then wait for M1 to Create a Setup 1 or 2 after a retrace on m5. I hope it makes sense. Here is what I saw on UJ on m1 and m5 this am.
