Re: Spyros' Journal
Hello everyone,
This is my "good" trade of the day. I took one more just for 2 pips. In this I went short at 1.23027 and set TP at the second TZ which was at 1.22916.
I was kind of afraid to hold this trade for longer as yesterday's range was rather tight. Overall, I am happy with my 12 pips for the day -and the week as I did not find any trades yesterday.
Good luck everyone.

Well done Spyros. (wd) I took the same trade and I have 20 pips locked in. Letting it run - aiming for 1.2250. Trailing a 15 pip stoploss.

Thanks.
I am glad you took the trade. I am sure most of us here did. I hope you get your target. (wd)

Re: Spyros' Journal
Two trades for me so far.
Having paid my rent of 7 pips, I managed a +12 pips trade later on. Overall 5 pips in profit for the day.
The loss trade hit my SL at the upper AIMS level. THe profit one, I exited manually as I feared to better than expected news at 11.00 GMT.
Happy trading all.

Re: Spyros' Journal
OK, it's been a long while, but I'm back with my journal.
First trade was a short LO BO which did not work. It was followed by a SAR long, which I should have held for a little while longer. I actually put the SL at the candle low, as I thought my daughter had fallen and I run to see how she was. Overall, I paid a 12 pips rent on the first trade and took 27 from the second.
Next trade was a short fruit at 10:30. It was SARed for a rent of 19 pips. The long was opened at 332.5 and was manually closed at 378.8 where Immy pointed out was the TZ1 5min level. That resulted in a 46pip profit.
Hopefully I will be back for NY

Re: Spyros' Journal
OK, back to posting in my journal. I made a promise to myself that I will post every trade from now on.
The last couple of days of no good signals have helped me a lot in terms of exerxising restraint. I feel I have become a tiny bit better at (not) trading
As far as today goes, I took one trade during the London session which ended up with a nice 2%.
No other trades until 12 pm which is when I left my PC altogether. I came back to the PC shortly after 15.00 only to find that my broker had been having connection issues yet again. The fear of being left hanging with an open order, kept me from taking the 16.36 seed.
I quit trading at around 18.30 with no new trades, as ICM had no signals during the nice move down that started at around 17.00. A good day, as I finished with a +2%.
More to come tomorrow, although this ICM connection issue has spooked me a bit.

Re: Spyros' Journal
I took no trades today.
The first one I thought of taking came at a time with low volatility and a sideways movement.
I stopped trading at 12.00 and came back arround 15.00. There was a seed at 15.54, but I did not take it as it was above the red line. The only trade I was really considering, was the cherry at 16.29. I did not take it because I was afraid of the possible whipsaw of NEO the following minute.
I stopped trading at around 18.00.
So, no gains today, but no losses either. I traded according to my plan and Grant's Template. No regrets. Will do the same tomorrow and the rewards will come.

Re: Spyros' Journal
Took just two trades today. The first at 16.15 was cancelled and the other ended up with a rent. The second one at 16.43 happened after a pin bar appeared on the 5m chart. I thought, given that rest (both gators open, e-wave count on both tf and the time) that it would have the power to at least re-test the low of the pin bar.
It eventually did, but not before taking me out for a 1% rent. I think I acted as I should according to the entry requirements. I have no regrets. I follow the setups and it will eventually pay off.
Next week will more profitable.
Off to a good weekend.
PS. I am thinking of demo trading Steve's news EA at the start of each session. I was thinking about it since Kyle mentioned it a few days ago. I will give it a try and let you know how it goes.

Re: Spyros' Journal
Just one trade today for 2%.
There was another one that turned out to be a winner at 10.41 but I did not want to take it so far into the wave.
Ended up with 2% for the day and I am happy. NEO session did not offer anything until I left, so just this one trade.
