Thanks Immy, was just watching the video.
Will re watch again. I follow along with your video's and go yes I see that, yep I understand that. You always make it look so easy.
Then when I do it, it is not so easy!
I am working on my watching the candles and reading them in real time.

You highlighted an important point. Let's expound on it if you don't mind.
I refer to the point : "You always make it look so easy.
Then when I do it, it is not so easy!"

Give me some examples if possible. I'd love to work on it. Maybe I could explain it better.

thanks

Thanks Immy, I am also thinking there are a couple of other issue here, which are my issues.
1.Analysis paralysis, looking at not only the charts for S1 then there are seeds, cherries etc, are they valid, what else should you look at to comfirm them etc.
2. Once the trend and trade is underway looking at it and realising I should have taken that before now. It becomes obvious once it unfolds.
3. Mental, not wanting to undo my last good batch with mistakes in the next one. Wanting to move forward but I find I am now more cautious.

I can give you an example, you posted and called out Eur/Aud on the 11th, that was on my list. I saw on H4, the cherry and pink dot together and I thought that looks like something I should take. (I will post charts in a minute below)

I then say to myself, but the downward trend has been going awhile and really I should have got in on the 30/8 at the red dow, but purple is wrong, then there is 3 more cherries, that would have been good but I didn't take. The gator is open for my pink dot/cherry, the wave is not by zero.

I check D1 confirm it is going down, but it has been for awhile now. (Waltz) but only recently below purple.

Flick to H1 see what the shorter term is showing me. Apple (pink arrow) thats good, but it is also sideways and the last red dot and the pink did nothing. At the point of checking the red dot after the apple was not there (it this had formed I would have been more likely to take it).

I can follow along with you in the video, I see the seed, apple and cherry when read right, gives more opportunities and I can learn this, but it also in real time can confuse me. Sending me mixed messages and at time doubt so I wait and watch and then miss. I hope this helps with some of my process and areas to still overcome.

Batch 4

Trade 03

Nzd/Chf H4

Apple appeared on D1, H4 showed Waltz, trigger candle and them pause candle. PO set on H4

End result was +0.5R

R result to date for this batch: -1.0R

DS score for batch: 2/3

Overall total R score: (all batches) +19.05R

My Feelings and Analysis at the time of entry and afterwards: - Apple signal so them I dropped to H4 to see a way in early. Waltz spotted, nice small pause candle. SL moved down with candles to lock in half an R. I was trailing candles.

What could I have done different: Looking at it I could have got the 2R if I hadn't have trailed.

Batch 4

Trade 04

Nzd/Jpy H4

Red dto D1, S1 but box too large, dropped to H4. PO set, lower than box due to wick on candle that left the box before I was awake.

End result was +0.25R

R result to date for this batch: -0.75R

DS score for batch: 2/4

Overall total R score: (all batches) +19.8R

My Feelings and Analysis at the time of entry and afterwards: - D1 looked good, gator open on H4. I have marked DS score down as I entered on H4, but was trailing the candle on D1. H4 I could have got to nearly the 2R.

What could I have done different: Manage the trade on the time frame it is placed!

Batch 4

Trade 05

Aud/Cad D1

Big box, waited, once it left the box, went in on small pause candle for Waltz. Started well, BE. Bounced before 2R.

End result was BE

R result to date for this batch: -0.75R

DS score for batch: 3/5

Overall total R score: (all batches) +19.8R

My Feelings and Analysis at the time of entry and afterwards: - I had been watching a few for a set up, boxes were large. Waiting for Waltz was the best way I could see to get in. TZ was below and at a level to get a 2R, but it bounce before it got there.

What could I have done different: If I was able if I had of traded this on H4 it would have hit the 2R.

Batch 4

Trade 06

Eur/Jpy D1

Big box, This one was entered before I went away. I left it running. Started ok, didn't make BE but my risk was reduced as it started to move

End result was 0.5R

R result to date for this batch: -0.25R

DS score for batch: 4/6

Overall total R score: (all batches) +19.3R

My Feelings and Analysis at the time of entry and afterwards: - Box was too large, and even with reducing the risk, it would have been better to have not taken this trade.

What could I havw done different: I should not have left this one to run while away, it was doing ok then started to pull up and I didn't manage it.

Yep, I don't think it was a great setup 1... big box... but it was worth a shot... nevermind NEXT ... good use of "minimising risk"... nice

Batch 4

Trade 07

UsdJChf H4

Watlz spotted, doji. PO set, moved SL line a bit above to give it a bit more room till it started to take off.

End result was 2R

R result to date for this batch: +1.75R

DS score for batch: 5/7

Overall total R score: (all batches) +21.3R

My Feelings and Analysis at the time of entry and afterwards: - small pause candle spotted, doji. PO placed. Filled and moved to BE quickly. I missed it getting out on the first push down, long wick. When I got home, I decided to move my SL up a bit to catch the next push down. Out at TP, it continued and more could have been taken, but 2R was my target.

What could I have done different: Happy with this trade a few more like this would be good!
