The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.

Re: Bettina's Journal
Hi Immy,
glad that you like it.
The one GU candle, where you asked, why it's not marked, is not a BDc according to your rules. It's near, but it isn't. The close is in 2 and not in 3 ( with my brokers data )
Shall I give them 1 pip tolerance up and down ? But that might be much for a small candle ?
Or shall I round up to 4 digits ? But then it wouldn't be a BDC as well.
High 57671
Close 57587
End of lower third 57579
Open 57554
Low 57533

Re: Bettina's Journal
made some experience with EJ.
1 ) proper 5.1 setup short : + 20 p
2 ) A kind of I thought it would or could : Box with BDC down and ZL cross: - 12p. I tseems to be useful to enter 1.5 or 2 pips below the level
3 ) Classic setup + 20p : Not used to the moves yet !
But my day is not positive, did too many rents in the morning !

+ 12.4 p on EJ again.
I had nor idea where it could go. so I didn't want to let it below TZ1 again.

Very nice setup and very well traded. Seems like the one place I missed everyone else got it including you , erik, grant others. Nicely done.Bettina wrote:+ 12.4 p on EJ again.

Bettina! There was no exit signal. It would be best to take exits either on TP hit or an exit signal. but still well done!
enjoy your weekend!

Re: Bettina's Journal
Hi Bettina,
Great journal and thanks for posting the indicator but I have a little question about it. I have it loaded and it seems to be working as a label appears if I hover over a candle that is a BDC, but it does not change color at all. The colors on the parameters are very different to what I have on the chart so I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Any ideas?

Re: Bettina's Journal
Perhaps untick "Chart in foreground" in the chart options ?
Otherwise it would be easier for me to see your chart.
