Re: Bettina's Journal
Yesterday I was thinking of writing this to Bettina! "Would you like to clear your charts a bit and learn to trust the market and let it run". But then I thought, let me let you find your own way. Well done! this is a step in the right direction. Please give it a shot for at least the next month. Trade the rules and only the rules. You'll love it. It may be a bit of problem for your lefty to cope with for a while but within a week you'll normalise!Bettina wrote:First try of EJ today - since I had more than -10% last Wednesday till Friday.

Re: Bettina's Journal
Hi,
Twice TP 20p hit on EJ with an SL of 7. Some light in the darkness ?
It's good for me, not to read the forum all the time inbetween.
It#s not missing joy or whatever, it's mostly missing concentation.

Re: Bettina's Journal
I AGREE! I must also restrain myself to updating my journal only at the end of the day! kudos
20 20 pippers nicely done. Sadly it did not occur to me to jump in one more time. I sat and watched in horror! haha

Re: Bettina's Journal
I think you're on the right track. The first one was something we often get caught with, today, I got saved. Erik got whipped and you too. But the good thing is you were trading based on a Setup. A concept. It was not just chasing the market, or just long or short because you felt like it. It was based on a philosophy, if you like. You followed your plan. Yes your campaign ended up BE, but as you know, we are all learning and everyday we learning something more. Don't forget everyday we are different individuals. Because every moment is unique so we may go through moods and thought process that may look similar to the past but are totally unique. Just like the Setup. It may look similar to the past yet they are totally unique. IMHO. (well not my thoughts actually I learned from Mark Douglas) We must train our eyes to Identify our edge = The Setup. And then we must train our MIND to belief 100% in this statement "Anything can happen". Which means that we BELIEVE in Uncertainty. We DO NOT PREDICT the market's future. We Stay in the now and make ourselves Available in the now moment. Once you've done that, your brain will constantly keep taking you to the future using images of the past. It is our job to tell our lefty brain, "hey, thanks for helping me spot the setup nicely, since there is no problem to solve and so that means your job is done, so you may go to sleep". I guarantee you the next moment you will feel so relaxed you may even yawn. Don't yawn though... haha... oh, i'm rumbling... again.. all I wanted to say was Well Done!Bettina wrote:Me so far with EJ

Re: Bettina's Journal
Hi Immy,
thanks for your nice words !
Another EJ +20 ! I know it could have been more, but at the moment I'm happy with the SL7/TP20 model !
It's nearly 1:3 and I have more trust in it than on anything with EU.
