I thought I would post my trades for the day just to show how not to trade! I often seem to filter the wrong signals so maybe seeing them recorded will help somehow. Anyway, tomorrow is a new day...

Don't be too hard on yourself Darren. There were a few of us in todays session that didn't make inroads. I, for one, did not make a profitable trade today, yet traded all the correct setups in NYO

Cheers Kyle.

I know, it was what it was today and tomorrow is another day. I think I may post my charts for a while as it does help me with the correct setups, although I don't think I was too off the mark today!

Evening D,

Some thoughts on your charts if i may... but before i do a quick question...

the first trade you missed, were you at the charts then or simply away, thus not trading?

If you weren't at the screen then shit happens...

If you were at the screen then shit happens....

Did you filter the first and 2nd AAs after your miss?? they look good trades to me (hindsight i know)

then when you did start taking entries the seed was a good trade, the candy maybe not as it was above the alli and the AA was not as there was no real clear wave 3 down. It had already happened at your missed trade.... (typically)...

the 4 entries on the 2nd chart were IMHO all spot on, they just didnt play ball......

cheers
Grant

ps, having chart withdrawal already, only 6 weeks of kids to go.... ~x( ~x( (rofl) (rofl)

Thanks a lot for the reply Grant - I appreciate it!

The first trade I missed I was at the chart and waiting for a signal but my daughter woke up and came to say good morning! Those 20 seconds made me lose concentration. I locked her in a cupboard for the rest of the morning so that it wouldn't happen again! ;)

The two AA's were missed by mistake. My 'mind' didn't see them as AO was above zero on both of them and I had conditioned my mind to ignore any shorts where AO was above zero. I know AA's are different to seeds and candy's and I hopefully won't make that mistake again!

Your comments about the Candy I agree with and can see it wasn't a high probability trade.

Thanks soooooo much for the analysis, it has really helped to analyse each trade and has increased my confidence. Roll on tomorrow!

Btw, if you are having chart withdrawals already you know what to do - I am sure your kids and wife won't mind toooo much if you disappear for an hour or two! ;)

Thanks again. :D

Today's trades so far. There was a few discretionary seeds and cherries that were trades according to the flow chart but weren't recommended according to Grant and Immy in the skype room. I guess this comes with experience! :)

Point 5: I pay myself as the market makes money available to me.
(this applies different when adding on. When you're adding on, you don't go in all at once so you take positions off instead of closing half)

one more interesting thing: AA's are Monarch patterns on higher time frames... PC's are AA's on lower time frames... Seed are Setup1's on lower time frames... Fruits are ?????

Monarch = King pattern?

Fruits are end of waves on higher time frames?
