Hi Bettina
I saw that one too
But wasn't trading it (!)
Also the UK had a bit of reprieve with news that it isn't quite into triple dip recession, the GDP improved rather than deteriorated, but only by a weeny little bit
Hope your luck is running a bit better these days.
My luck comes and goes, but it's mainly a matter of discipline, which is less luck but more the application of common sense and higher probability trades. Also not getting too greedy, and taking a reasonable count of pips when they are available, and not stretching stop losses too far because setbacks take a lot of recovery which is debilitating.

Re: Bettina's Journal
I wish more people would come on here to share something on their journals

1% daily gain, compounded for 250 trading days, (approximately one year) would produce 1103% account growth[/center]

Re: Bettina's Journal
Example : 17 pips with M15 inbar entry on M1.
Without that inbar I probably wouldn't have dared to enter the trade for w5 because of the very small ZL cross.

Re: Bettina's Journal
Hi good morning !
Seed trade on GU M1/M15 : though I could have made more I'm happy to have 1:2.4 with the second position, 1,63 % account growth over all. I exited because M5 had a w5 between TZ1 and TZ2 and I was doubting to get more. It was also against H1 AO.

The Consistent Pursuit of DS1

Re: Bettina's Journal
S1 ( and seed, but seed was within the gator ) trade on GU this morning , 1.32 % !
Second exit was triggered by 60 min low , 38% retracement of M15 and the pivot line. It seems a bit early, but in comparison to aims level exit I missed only a few pips.
Having analized many of my negative trades in the past, I see that I developped an absolute passion to trade into the wrong direction. I don't know where it comes from, but it's a "but now it must go up/down" - feeling.
But this one is fine. though H1 is still up, M5 and M15 were down.
