Re: Michael's (zlabis) Journal [The Magician]
Wed. Nov. 18, 2015
Screen time:
Afternoon-session 14:00 (NYO) - 16:30 (GMT+1, DST over) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE
I opened chart right at New York Open and DAX presented a clear structure: M5 was in some sort of pullback towards green gator but gator was still opened strongly to the up side. In addition there was a good Seed on M5 as well which indicated a S1 on M1. M1 itself showed a "w3" and a "w4" on Steve's eWave indy, so I waited for a good signal into w5 on M1.
Trade 1:
That signal showed up in form of a good Bullish Divergency Candel (Fruit) at PC situation with diverging AO into potential w5 on M1. TP was below micro TZ1. After PO was triggered, price formed a promising w1-2 but it didn't went up directly, instead it came down twice to or even through gator befor it finally took off. Unfortunately I didn't survive second pullback and exited trade with +1.0% when the candle closed far below green gator. Exit was ok, because my analysis told me that the Fruit trade was already in stage 3 and the main exit for that is green gator.
Trade 2:
Being in a new M1 wave 5, there showed up a tiny Monarch Seed near green gator. TP was next to TZ1 at 2R level where it got hit. This time slippage was on my side which brought me +3p and therefore +2.5%.
Trade 3:
Classical Adam's Apple Fruit at 38.1% pullback at the end of a clear a-b-c correction. It simply didn't work out but, at least, I moved SL to BE as there closed a very impulsive up candle clearly above gator before it reversed completely and hit SL at BE with +/-0.0%.
Trade 4:
Another good pullback situation after strong move and open M5 gator in direction of trade. This time there showed up a Monarch Seed, followed by a pinbar which broke high of Seed but closed below of it's high (pattern which Immy calls "The Bud"). I prefered using that pinbar for placing PO with ATM because it placed SL where it seems more logic to me that it would not get hit (above AIMS high). It went down nicely, passing 1:1 level, but unfortunately it missed TP at 2R by 2 points before it went up sharply and hit SL which was already moved to BE by ATM. +/-0.0% for that good trade.
Today's result: +23.0p = +3.5% , DS = 4 / 4 , 2.50 hrs
It was a great afternoon session full of good signals. I'm happy that I managed to take 4 good quality entries which were all according to my trading plan and I handled them according to my rules.

Thu. Nov. 19, 2015
Screen time:
London Open session 9:00 - 11:00 (GMT+1, DST over) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE
Was a LO session with strong M5 up move which offered two good setups on M1.
Trade 1:
Adam's Apple into possible w5 at double bottom right at 50% pullback and with good AO pattern (w3 and w4 on M1 was already indicated). It went in direction of the trade and through gator completely and formed a pattern which could have been w1-2. It reversed at a time, I already considered trade to be already in stage 3 and moved SL to candle which closed below green gator. Unfortunately it hit SL to the point before it started a great up move which would have hit TP at TZ1 easily.
The candle which triggered SL of Trade 1 formed a great Monarch Cherry at the end of w1-2 of w5 but due to the fact that it was "responsible" for exit, my mind was blocked seeing that great signal. There were simply to many information at one time so my perception got overloaded.
Trade 2:
was at next pullback situation after missed Monarch Cherry. This time it was a great Seed which nearly touched green gator. TP was at 2R level, slightly above TZ1. Same as Trade 1, SL got hit to the point, this time at init SL level, before it went into direction of entry. Exit with -1.0%.
Today, in contrast to last days, SLs got hit to the point two times but trades were very well planned and execution was ok as well, so nothingto complain or regret. Next time trades will survive pulbacks by fraction of a point again ;-)
Today's result: -8.5p = -1.1%, DS = 2 / 2 , 2.00 hrs

Fri. Nov. 20, 2015
Screen time:
London Open session 9:00 - 11:00 (GMT+1, DST over) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE
Trade 1 + Trade 1 addon:
Today DAX started at LO with an a-b-c down move which ended with an Adam's Apple Fruit at 50% pullback level and touching purple. It was an entry into possible w5 after whole FO session produced a big w3 up.
TP was slightly below eWaves's TZ1. It went through gator completely so I placed SL to BE. After that it pulled back a bit and formed a VERY promising Monarch seed at potential w1-2. Because SL of AA entry was already at BE, I added on at that Monarch Cherry, so my exposure to market was not more than 1%.
Unfortunately It didn't go up further and both entries got exited below lower M1 AIMS level with +0.1% with AA entry (lost 2p of slippage) and -1.0% with addon.
Trade 2:
Adam's Apple Fruit with big angulation at the end of a-b-c zigzag correction, at 50% pullback and very close to purple. Was a good signal but simply didn't work out. It hit init SLwith -1.0%. Next;-)
Trade 3:
2nd attempt to catch entry into w5 down after previous AA failed. This time signal bar even touched purple but again it didn't work out and init SL was triggered with -1.0%.
Chart analysis, execution and handling of all 3 trades were of high quality but this time it simply didn't work out but next week is another week ;-)
BTW, my daily SL of -3% got hit for the very fist time today since I'm trading Seed/Cherry/AA concept.
Today's result: -30.5p = -2.9%, DS = 3 / 3 , 2.00 hrs

Re: Michael's (zlabis) Journal [The Magician]
Mon. Nov. 23, 2015
Screen time:
London Open session 9:00 - 11:00 (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE
NEO session 15:30 - 17:00 (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE
During LO session there were some signals but I filtered most of them due to explaination on screen shots.
Trade 1:
At the end of my LO session there formed a good Cherry after AO had peaked freshly. TZ1 was far enough away and Cherry was at green gator along with a Principle C. After PO was triggered, it moved down with pace but it reversed at the very next candle. Because 1:1 level was already hit, trade got exited at BE with +/-0.0%.
Afternoon session started with very low volatility during the first hour. Then there was a false breakout to the downside before it went up through the range and, although volatility was still rather low, it formed a clear w3 up. First there was a promising pullback where I was waiting for a PC-Cherry which didn't show up. So I had to wait for a bigger pullback into w4.
Trade 2:
Finally w4 showed up, formed some sort of zigzag and ended in a Adam's Apple Fruit with good angulation and at 38.1% pullback and at purple. Macro TZ1 of eWave indy was right at 2R level, so I didn't hasitate taking it. I handled it like Fruit and left init SL untouched until there was a new lower AIMS level where I moved SL to. It worked out nicely and hit TP to the point for +2%. I was a bit lucky because DAX reversed immediately after TP was hit and have to admit that trade was probably taken due to urge to trade a bit because there were some market conditions I usually try to avoid, namely rather low volatility and not clearly outside range. Because analysis was correct and trade taken and handled according to my rules, DS = 1.
Today's result: +22.0p = +2.0%, DS = 2 / 2 , 3.50 hrs

Today LO started with a great brealout to the down side. News EA brought some nice % but that's another story. I didn't trade LO breakout manually anymore so I was waiting until a pullback occured.
Trade 1:
Good pullback situation of clearly corrective type (up candles were reasonably smaller than down candles) with a tiny Seed near green gator. It simply didn't work out and got exited at init SL with -1.3% due to 3p slippage at entry.
After that there occured a very impulsive up candle and I ignored the very next Seed signal. But then it went into corrective sideway phase.
Trade 2:
AIMS boxes showed a typical stepping pattern so I placed a PO below box into possible w5 of w3. Then there happened a false breakout to the up side in form of a down Cherry (Bearish Divergency Candle) and I was very confident that this could be start of w5 of w3. I deleted PO of breakout and place PO below that Cherry with TP some points above TZ1 and slightly above recent swing low. After it got triggered, it went down strongly and triggered 1:1 level (SL => BE by ATM). This time I survived pullback concisely before it fell like a brick and triggered TP whith +2.7%. Although price dropped far beyond my TP, I'm very happy with outcome because I had placed TP at a level which was very logic to me because more often than not, it doesn't go much beyond TZ1 or TZ2.
Today's result: +23.0p = +1.7% , DS = 2 / 2 , 2.00 hrs

Similar great market conditions at LO as yesterday. Today I took one breakout at LO motivated by a M1 Monarch pattern and great M5 structure and price action.
Wave 4 after big up move brought one rent at attempt to catch breakout into wave 5 but finally it was very obvious that it will breakout at given time. This time was at fib time exp of 2. There showed up a nice Monarch Cherry at the end of possible w1-2 into w3 of w5. TP was some points below TZ1 at 3R level. I placed add on entry at S1 breakout as at same level was 1:1 level of initial Cherry trade. Therefore my risk remained 1%. It worked out very well and ATM exited addon with +2% and init trade with +3%. This last campaign was completely handled by ATM after addon was triggered and init trade's SL was brought to BE. Trail fractals was activated and I went away from screen for not getting tempted to interfere.
Today's result: +63.0p = +6.1% , DS = 4 / 4 , 2.00 hrs

Fri. Nov. 27, 2015
Screen time:
London Open session 9:00 - 11:00 (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE
First 40 minutes of LO session, DAX moved quite strongly, forming a promising up wave.
Trade 1:
I waited for pullback and pulled the trigger twice at a Monarch Seed (canceled PO at next bar) and at Monarch Cherry. Signals were at green and red gator with entry level outside gator in direction of entries. I left TP of 2R untouched as price has already gone up a bit far and AO had peaked at high level as well.
After entry got triggered, it went up strongly and hit 1:1 level. Therefore ATM moved SL to BE. It simply didn't go up further and hit SL at BE with minor slippage.
Later, at potential Monarch AO Pattern into potential w5, I placed a PO at another monarch Seed which got invalidated quickly. After that it went into triangle correction which got broken a few minutes before my session was over. Because of TZ1 had already been hit and session nearly finished, I didn't consider taking further signals.
Today's result: -0.5p = -0.05% , DS = 1 , 2.00 hrs
Result of week 48, 23.11.-27.11.2015 - M1/M5 live:

Re: Michael's (zlabis) Journal [The Magician]
Hi Michael! another great month. You were having nearly the same results as me, until you pulled that awesome 6% on thursday. well done... its been great fun trading together... And the next year is going to even more awesome as just before christmas we will have a great update to the already great entry alerts. A more simplified way of looking at the market.
Both the seed and cherry will have Question 1 in built into it. How awesome is that? I have managed to get another filter into the indicator which makes sure that there are no signals when the volatility is low. The idea came from Steve again.
A HUGE Thanks goes again to Steve and Grant for their amazingly selfless service, sharing their great ideas and just being themselves. I can't use the special titles here but they are both great and mighty amazing guys! And You Sir, MZ, top them both!
cheers

Re: Michael's (zlabis) Journal [The Magician]
Was a bit busy with office stuff this week so here's my late journal update.
Mon. Nov. 30, 2015
Screen time:
London Open session 9:00 - 11:15 (GMT+1) M1/M5 DAX only - LIVE
After LO there was some up- and down-swing without direction in first place.
Trade 1:
was a Monarch Cherry during first swing to me but later analysis showed me that there was already some sort of w1-2 earlier which made it less probable that it's Monarch at end of w1-2. It didn't work out anyway and hit init SL with -1%. Next ;-)
The 4th attempt to break out of range worked and it started to go into a huge w3 up. There wasn't any of my signals or setups to catch the move so I had to wait for a pullback.
Trade 2:
Seed at green gator. AO was big but there was very strong M5 up momentum, a M5 Momentum Inside Bar, already some dark green AO bars and no barriers ahead like S/R-, big round numbers, trend lines, LO-level,... . Only D1 upper AIMS level was close but beyond 1:1 level. TP was placed at 2R level because we were already very far up in the move. It worked out very well and hit TP with +2%.
Trade 3:
Nice structured move and attempt with a PC-Adam's Apple Fruit to catch start of wave 5 up. It didn't work out and hit init SL with -1%. Next ;-)
I placed PO at next AA as well which didn't get even triggered but that second attempt wasn't a good signal. Was a bit lucky that it got invalidated.
Today's result: +1.0p = +/-0.0% , DS = 3 / 3 , 2.25 hrs
