Re: Ralf's Journal

Here is today's morning session. I started with a short fruit with - I think - good angulation (marked in yellow) but got confused as Immy mentioned in skype that this fruit is not valid and it's highly likely to be w4 with aligator trending to close while price moving sideways (hope I got it right; @Immy, please correct me if I'm wrong). After the rent I therefore used this fruit as SAR but this also did not work very well. I then missed the following short fruit while still thinking through Immy's comments. But I should have stayed focused instead and do the review afterwards. Lesson learned. #-o Finally, I gave another long fruit a chance but down trend persisted.

In the future I'm going to use SAR very scarcely and only at opening sessions and important news. I'm also thinking about switching to M1 for April to better follow Immy's priceless guidance.

Apologies Immy for the confusion, I thought we were talking about M5. Mea culpa! :ymblushing: Another reason why it might makes sense for me to switch to M1. :))

During today's afternoon session I took one short AA on M5 which developed very nicely. The add-on was a bit late as I missed to place it initially. Fortunately price came back giving me the opportunity to place the trade. I intentionally did not place the second add-on as it was close to Xetra closing.

Today's morning session was not one I should be proud of. I wanted to focus primarily on fruit signals and therefore missed this beautiful long breakout at LO. I just gave a short fruit a try when market seemed to lose momentum but it just took a pause for another nice up-move. Moreover, I've tried the technique Immy posted to reduce risk when difference of PO and SL is too big (which was not the case here anyway). 8-} So let's forget this session and see what NEO brings; NEXT

You are hereby banned from using that technique until January 2016. Trade the Fruit correctly.

Today's afternoon session started with a nice AA long with add-on. However, I did not take the following short fruit with good angle while closing longs as I was looking for wave 5. But NEO pushed price further down and AA was a rent. I caught at least the following short breakout, which I closed at the valid long fruit for some pips. I then took this fruit long which was a rent and then SAR'd this fruit expecting some movements from ISM news but it turned out for another rent. The thing that I could have handled better would have been taking the short fruit right before NEO while closing the long or at least the add-on but I was too focused on wave 5. Shoulda coulda woulda

Today's LO started with a nice down move which I caught using short breakout but unfortunately the trend did not last long and price came back and started to move sideways. Let's see what next week brings.

Happy Ester to you all! :-h

DS for today's morning session is ZERO!!! I took the first fruit at FO after holiday season; so where the heck did I think does the angulation come from?! ~X(
