After some thought I have decided to not post any more non-AIMS trades on the forum.
It is only right to stay in harmony with Grant's work and AIMS setup principles.

It takes a lot of work and time to get members to follow and focus on setup rules correctly. So these posts would be counter-productive.

Michael. Do you use the fib ext. tool much??
In the attached pic i show 2 examples, one on your trade and another on a following aims break as illustration.

If you find a dot with a 50-61.8-78.6% fib retrace before your aims setup appear, drawing an ext. fib as shown across it can give one also show good indication of wave 3 potential. As per general abc or zigzag formations (which then potentially develop into w3), you would know that at 100% you can expect a bounce or pause of price. Ideal ext as target can be 1.618%, and extended range 2.618.

If you do not have a retrace but just aims box height, you can draw it flat as shown.

Keep an eye on this for your info, while applying Grant's rules.

Thanks for this Herbert , I had not placed a fib extension on here and keep meaning to get up to speed with using it. A further observation after the trade , was that even though there were 5 red bars , price was not particuarly extended from the green alligator line. Your input much appreciated

Good point there Michael. Making a note of that.

HI Herbert your journal is made a great learning tool for me thanks for that dear.

R u trading in 5 min tf? suppose we target a 5th wave in M1 but in M5 that dierection is towards wave 4 so would u take that trade? can we go against the 5 min wave if we r trading in 1 min tf?

Lots of thanks

Hey Nitin. I trade 1min. I watch 5min up to 1H for obvious structures as shown when 1min does not make sense. Each wave got a personality, we just saw w4.... 8-}
As with AIMS docs, we try to avoid w4's. If you stay on 1m during a higher TF W4, you should then expect very tight range 1min setups.

I did few mini scalps between S/R levels (mixed results) assuming minimum wave of ABC where a-b = b-c... ie, 1 to 1 zigzags.
In short, w4's are way too complicated for me...... i try to be aware i am in a higher TF W4 if possible, otherwise just avoid.

Higher TF's have stronger price action/trend than lower, so 5min prevailed. I stick to one TF to trade otherwise the scene becomes even more complicated than all the stuff i already have on my charts.... :o
