Hey Tony. Good attempt there. Always good to be IN the market for the potential run.
I did not take that particular one since there were already 6 consecutive directional candles in the box, but may as well have taken off....

I for one, i use the aims box sl following technique when i see 5min in sync with a 1min trade and initial impulse out of box allows first narrow box to form above be.

Waited for this set-up AO was old with powder blue dot, but took it because 5 min was about to cross the 0 line down and it just felt right, +6

2nd trade for the night - Red news was released, didn't really shake things, shark swam straight under my board so waited a few more minutes then placed PO, paddled in and caught a nice little wave - +8

1hr trade gbp/jpy - lucky escape set PO and forgot to check for red news, work got in the way, didn't look at the screen for 4 hours and then checked - Red news hit and gave me my 1%, 50 pips in 1 candle and hit my tp at 4hr low. THE GREAT ESCAPE, (whew) so with 1% made for the night it was bbq, rugby league and cold beer time without needing to look at a 1min chart. :D

3 x trades for the night on Monday 30th
1hr trade eur/jpy no dot in line with 4hr and break of major support - 50 pips or 1%
1hr trade aud/jpy, dot and in line with 4hr missed tp by 3 pips and retraced, manually closed for 32 pips this morning when I woke up, had trailing stop of 40 pip in place. Closed for .6%
1 min trade eur/jpy loss of -6pip or .5%

So just over 1% for the night, as it was past 12pm when I finished trading, thought I would update my journal today but demo account monthly records were deleted. Must write them down straight away and take a picture after trade has finished. Good moves yesterday and today on htf's and many 4hr / daily combo's falling into line

Have been a little too bust for trading recently but have watched the charts for last 3 nights. Attempted a 4hr trade below on gbp/usd with stop trailing above aims box but it was just a little too close, Trade was up 41 pips and then retraced to just tag my stop and give me a 41 pip loss. Will learn from that. Need to give it more room to breath.

I have watched the 1min charts for the last 3 nights and haven't takin a trade. I am now live on 1min charts but trading small lots sizes until more confident. This is my first live trade this week on 1 min. Aud/usd +5 :D
