Re: Jasmien's Journals.
You seem to tackle all timeframes from M1 to above. As discussed in the skype, for some people it's difficult to trade everything. Personally if I focus to M1, H1 just goes out of the radar with total mental block. Well done and keep it going.

Re: Jasmien's Journals.
Yes Immy I'm at batch No 19 lol, couldn't trade any other way now. Batch No 19 isn't looking too good this time around but it's good for me to analysis after each batch only than can I improve and learn. Thank you

Re: Jasmien's Journals.
Yes Tomi, I'm feeling it a bit now though, realising that once I focus a few hours on M1/M5 I can't focus on H1 too well afterwards or in-between, I always think that I can do more but reality is a bit different, better doing one thing and doing it well. I like to stay on M5 for now especially for the learnings and than apply this to my bigger picture but it's fun so all good. Thanks for looking into my journal.Tomi wrote: 15 Feb 2018, 15:16 You seem to tackle all timeframes from M1 to above. As discussed in the skype, for some people it's difficult to trade everything. Re: Jasmien's Journals.
It seems to me that we have some sort of metaphorical tank that runs out of juice. They did a research on people's ability to exercise their will power. So subjects were exposed to cookies and delicious food (they were asked to not eat at all before the experiment) nobody knew it was about will power. They were told they were doing some exercise... The results in short, the group that saw cookies before going for exercise had consumed portion of their "units" so to say, of will power, and ended up lifting less than others. more thorough research is going on about will power.
Maybe trading the m5 or m1 chart would deplete our "will power" or "discipline" resources... I also have felt that after MASSIVE profitable day (or loss for that matter) I am unable to muster that necessary amounts of "will power" to make me trade ... rather i fell less motivated...
The Utility Theory applies again...
my 2 cents

Re: Jasmien's Journals.
Batch No.19
Trade No. 11
Date: 19/02/2018
Pair: EurUsd
Signal Type : H1 Seed short
Notes and feelings I note for myself before my trade outcome: I feel ok with this trade, M15 had a 3 and wave 4, didnt check any other timeframe other than h1/M15. I took the actualy seed on H1 so will see.
DS 1
Thoughts after my trade outcome: BE

Re: Jasmien's Journals.
Thank you Immy, I will continue with M5 as I like to give everything at least 3 month before making a new decision. I understand that my H1 trades will be slower, I'm ok with that now, it's more in my head that I always think I need to do better.immy wrote: 16 Feb 2018, 09:38 It seems to me that we have some sort of metaphorical tank that runs out of juice. Re: Jasmien's Journals.
Batch No.19
Trade No. 12
Date: 19/02/2018
Pair: GbpJpy
Signal Type : H1 Cherry
Notes and feelings I note for myself before my trade outcome: I saw it late last night during NY Session, did one last scan. Sam had already taken the breakout trade here ( I think it was technically a setup 0 which Sam took, green dot against purple) it did not fit within my rules so I had to filter, but kept an eye on it and took a valid hunt signal within wave 3, I felt ok with it, not fully confident as M15 was still in wave 3 and normally I like to see a setup 1 or at least a 3 & 4 wave count on M15, but I wanted to be in (maybe Sam's influence) H4 was going into a wave 4 up, so I was OK putting PO on and went to bed. It did move to BE overnight.

I thought it was famous, I had to leave home rushed it a bit, M15 did not have a clear 3 & 4 wave count as well. Silly mistake.
