Mickey's Journal
Great Idea! That way maybe I will actually concentrate
on what I'm reading.
Can you confirm the very latest PDF is Fruit 4.1 Copyright 2006-2015 ©
Are there any other PDFs written in 2015?
on what I'm reading.

Re: Mickey's Journal
download the fruit package 4.2. all inside that is latest. previously we used to have pdf and indicators separate now we pack them together.
What is the Secret of Successful Trading?
The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.
My Deathbed Advice "5:1 Reward to Risk Ratio".

Mickey's Journal
Done that. 4.2 package still contains 4.1 PDF but I would assume that is the latest.
I have completed first ten pages with annotated corrections on the PDF
Note to anyone new to Fruit, or anyone also struggling: Whilst proofreading The Fruit
PDF I was shocked, gobsmacked and horrified!...
Not at the 200 or so glaring mistakes in the text
but more shocked that I have no recollection of ever reading this stuff before!
and now I start to recall...
there have been occasions when I have called a Fruit signal, or a time to addon,
or SAR and my fellow illustrious Skype members respectfully asking what on
earth am I talking about
There is a possibility that some, if not all of my Fruit trades are based on signals
that only exist in my imagination
I thought I read the Fruit Ebook at the end of 2013. I seem to remember
something about the angulation to gator. I wasn't that interested at the
time...
but last week I watched a Fruit video which was extremely hard to take
in because of the musical soundtrack. Initially it really distracted from
Immy's vocal explanations, but after a few minutes I found Immy was
distracting me from the music!
- which is very good btw. - I definitely
remember hearing that music on the video before.
So all in all it seems I probably never bothered to read the Fruit Ebook
when I joined AIMS, just watched the video, enjoyed the music but probably
missed much of the actual Fruit instruction.
Of course I'm observing live trades on Skype, I read other members' journals,
which is good, but would be even better if I had a better foundation by being
thoroughly grounded in the basics - by reading and digesting the Fruit Ebook.
Proofreading or re proofreading is forcing me to dissect every word and phrase,
and to continually ask myself - 'Does this really make sense?' 'What is the writer
really trying to convey?'
So in the process, whether I like it or not I am getting a very thorough understanding
of the entire Fruit system - which I should already have!
Two years ago I was asked to proofread a 300 page university paper written by
a Vietnamese acquaintance who could barely speak English. It was tortuous!
I couldn't gloss over it, that wasn't an option. I had to really work hard mentally
to really try figure it all out, what was he really trying to put across in his paper?
How did each section relate to each other and to the whole?
Trust me, the Fruit is an English masterpiece compared to his original draft
but the same principle applies - very serious analysis of every word is needed.
Its really brought home to me that you get out of reading only what you put
into it!
Well anyway, this guy got his degree and I now know far, far more about
the conservation of golden cheeked gibbons in Vietnam then I would ever
need to know or wish to know!
but when it comes to the subject of a means to personal financial freedom
all I seem to have casually picked up is I know there has to be an angle or
something? ...
I would recommend everyone proofread the Fruit PDF regardless of aptitude,
and perhaps read and digest it many times over
Perhaps like me thus far it may have appeared to be too much mental effort
You only get out of something what you put in to it. There is no quick
and easy way

Mickey's Journal
Slim Physique Strategy
Sequence 1, 20 Campaigns All won
but expecting miracles in 20 days after three years of
fatty food, cakes and beer. Same with trading, after years
hooked on system and indicator flipping I cannot expect
instant success. Patience!
NEW!
Proofreading Daily Strategy
Sequence 1
Campaign 1 21/3 +10p
Campaign 2 22/3 +10p
This daily dose of proofreading is fantastic, so by posting
a public record it might help with accountability to make
sure I stick with it - it really is critically important!! - to me
not to Immy.
Now I'm up to page 20 I remember reading about clouds are not
spheres etc, so I must have skimmed through the ebook after all,
but not retained very much. The answer has to be repetition - reading
the book over and over if necessary until everything is crystal clear.
I just learnt what Fruit version 2.4 is all about, - catching wave 5
right at the start. This is referred to as Adam's Apple or AA for short.
I know everyone already knows that
but do you know the finest way to completely imbed new information
into the mind? - so that you will always remember it?
It is simply to teach it to someone else!
Similarly I may be imparting little Mark Douglas gems with you soon here in
my journal, and if I appear to be teaching be assured it is with the sole
motive of impressing his wisdom into my memory. I won't be able to forget
it once I've taught it!
Interestingly I watched part of Mark's Video program yesterday. I really
didn't get on with his style of seminar teaching at all
However his written work 'Trading in the Zone' is an undisputed masterpiece.
Trading success is nearly all down to developing the right trading mindset
and Mark Douglas is the one name that all pro's cite as being the finest
authority on trading psychology bar none!
I believe Immy mentions that 'Trading in the Zone' is the trader's number
one essential reading , head and shoulders above all other trading books.
From what I've read so far I'm certain he's right!

Re: Mickey's Journal
Sequence 3
Campaign 6 -7
Campaign 7 -32 Not a trade, not sure what happened, careless mistake with PO which didn't show on MT4
but popped up later just before stopping out with -32. I think things were moving too fast for me.
Campaign 8 +41
Campaign 9 -11
Campaign 10 -15
Campaign 11 -9 I had really finished for the day when I went to MT4 terminal to check results.
I suddenly noticed that price was moving down again with momentum and immediately
entered short. I was stopped for -9. This was extremely impulsive and reckless trading
on my part.
So today, overall an improvement but one extremely careless mistake and one
brainless and reckless trade.
and the last trade was that impulsive reckless trade

Mickey,
Either use the Fruit Bars or candles. don't complicate it. either of them are fine.

Mickey's Journal
will do
About NE Open took two promising trades, both rents, both a bit
messy in execution and management but either one could have been
a great win - quite easily. I seem to have slipped into M1 TF
unintentionally. Unfortunately 5M does seem a bit like a paint drying
exercise in comparison - but its what I voted for
So without any further ado, my two afternoon Fruits -

Your expectation of Wave 5 up, may have blocked the information of a great shorting opportunity that you could have taken at the spot you exited the longs.kiravon wrote:will do

Absolutely right! I was fixated on my first AA and
very first trade that had any conscious reference to an
Elliott Wave, so no, going short never occurred to me despite
the two valid short signals
