Jasmien

This now is THE BEST post of this forum. For reasons I couldn't care less to explain. Its just obvious.

Thank you for doing this. Congratulations on completing your First T20 on the hourly charts. I can tell you with all my heart, how happy I am
for you. This is a major achievement that the rest of the 99% of the trades can't achieve.

And let me share, that after all these years of trading, I'm never 100% sure either. But I know why. Its because the human mind hates uncertainty and it should because it was ok with uncertainty we would all take mad trades and made decisions. Its all about "stacking up odds" in your favour.

You explained the setup nicely up there. Wave 3, then 4, Low risk (small box) set order for entry and stop loss and a target point at around 1:2 and/or near TZ1... Thats it. That is in your control. Risk control is yours. What happens later is out of our control, not entirely but we can't know if it will do exactly what we want or expect it to do but that we know that if we do this same thing over and over, we will grow our accounts over the longer period. NEVER EVER judge yourself by the amount of money in your account or profit you make. Never ever allow yourself to judge your trading performance based on 1 or 2 trades. Keep a score of 20 trades. And take it from there. Job well done...

This is the start of my second batch of T20.

All my trades are always 1x mini contract on live account.

It took me a while to get here but for me it's now all about my DS, once I've got that sorted only then will I increase my position-sizing.
I have dream to trade my own self-managed superfund but I can only do that with real confidence and DS score.
That evening when I decided to signed up with Aims it was kind of my last hope actually as I had just blown a 10K account and a big cry too, prior to that I blew other accounts as well however 10K was my record! I know it's hard to believe but true :-(

I had already looked into Aims, so that evening when I realised that I screwed up big times I'd decided to learn to trade properly,
hence why I had to work very hard to not focusing on $$$. Of course I love the idea of making money especially when it comes to trading, but for now it's all about DS, I can say that whole heartily now but wasn't easy though until just recently.

I realised that want you have something tested and the odds are on your side, you've mastered a strategy than money can be made in the long run.

Eur/Usd Long
Signal: 23-9-2016
Signal time: 11:00
Triggered 13:00

SL: 30 pip

Reasons for trade other than signal were:

I felt good, I also was not guessing myself.

My fave eyeballing image is:

1.Clear wave 3, than a wave 4, it was about to go into a 5.

2.this is my favourite setup, when I see a 3 and established a 4 I get excited.

3. Once I know I took a valid signal I try to surrender.

Outcome Profit/loss RR: TP reached. 2.0:1

What i learned from this trade: Make sure you have a clear wave count as best as I can.

Use/Chf short
Signal: 26-9-2016
Signal time: 10:00
Triggered 11:00

SL: 20 pip

Reasons for trade other than signal were:

I felt good, I also was not guessing myself, guessing is a big part for me the more I guess the less of course I am keen on taking the signal.
Sometimes I have to find out why am guessing, just fear of loosing or not getting a perfect ewave count etc.

However this chart and again my fave eyeballing image which is:

1.Clear wave 3, than a wave 4, it was about to go into a 5.

2. So I get excited.

Outcome Profit/loss RR: B/E 1.0:1

What i learned from this trade: Make sure you have a clear wave count as best as I can.

I learned that this chart had quite a support line at 0.96620, in fact it had hit that same spot 3 times and was also significant on HTF. I was very grateful for it to get to B/E.

Gold long

Signal: 26-9-2016
Signal time: 12:00
Triggered 13:00

SL: 48 pip

Outcome Profit/loss RR: B/E 1.0:1

Reasons for trade other than signal were:

I actually wasn't sure about this signal, there was uncertainty. I am very familiar with the gold chart, so I know when it moves it moves. But the ewave wasn't picture perfect, even though things did line up fresh cross etc. I am still trying to get it right with ewave it kind of a love hate relationship.

What i learned from this trade: Make sure you have a clear wave count as best as I can.

I learned the following: I don't have to trade gold as gold correlates with AU and U/CAD which both pairs are already in my trading universe, I have no removed it. Cant wait to add gold on a different strategy though in near future hopefully.
DS2/3

I am happy to NOT give myself a score here.

This for me was not a good setup for various reasons. But I'd rather post a picture of a Setup that I like. I think this will give you enough information as to what type of setups we look for. This is very specific to the "personality" of Gold.

In the picture above you see a strong move on NFP and the next day there is NOT great pullback. If there was pullback I'd like to end near the highs to the left , see where price meets purple before the spike up. but this was rather easier.

In the next slide I take you to the next level. I won't have commented on this earlier but having seen you completing your T20, on H1, it now is sufficient evidence that you mean "business". Gradually you'll begin to understand "nuances" ...

ps: whats the extra thing on your chart... wait, don't tell me, I don't care... :)
