Volume Indicator

Volume indicator without real volume data is worst than having nothing. MT4 only gives tick voume which is nothing but bits of information. It does not show you whether this price movement was based on high or low volume.

There was a complex indicator based on volume and momentum... Bill Williams MFI (but requires feed that sends real volume data) but countless tests showed that AO did exactly the same or better than that... MFI... this eWave indicator does better job than even the original volume indicator...

hope this makes sense

5. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade: Saw the AO close to 0 line with dark bars; saw a cherry, but before the cherry I also saw the market coming down.
6.Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade: I put 3R in ATM as I felt, Monarch more juice in the tank, than 2R... Market went to 2R reversed got me out at BE and then went on a run... bad luck but for now will go back to 2R
7. DS For this Trade: 2DS
8. DS Running Total: 100% (1/20) (2DS1 & DS0)

1. Trade Number: 3/20 Batch 3
2. Date/Time: 02/03/2020 - Morning session
3. Symbol/TF: Dax/1m
4. Signal Type / Direction: Short Seed
5. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade: Saw how price broke out of a range; M5 into an impulse wave; no monarch entry but was waiting for 3rd into 5th wave; I had no signals to support me so had to trust my knowledge of when the seed/cherry would appear. Went in...
6.Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade: Beautiful 2R a trade; more and more realise the importance of knowing where M5 is; trading M1 by itself is not good enough; M5 is the secret; it gives you understanding of impulse waves; you want to enter when M5 is about to enter a new impulse wave and look for Monarch on M1 or 3rd into 5th wave & only take S1 on M1 where is a corresponding Hunt Pattern or Signal on M5.
7. DS For this Trade: 1DS
8. DS Running Total: 100% (3/20) (3DS1 & DS0)
9. Result: 2R
10: Badge R: 4R (Target 10)

Re: Ganesh Trading Journal

Immy once mentioned briefly in the Slack channel that trading can show some sides of you which are nasty... Today I was exposed to that and I am still struggling to cope with it.

My last few days have been very successful and again in the morning, I had a beautiful winning trade. All according to plan; I felt really happy and confident. I then went to the gym and on the way back to the office I was really excited about the NY session. I really wanted to jump into another trade; for some reason, I felt that everything could only go my way... Little did I know that I was about to make some fatal mistakes... The market didn't play the way it on the open for me to have any entries, but I was somehow convinced that a trade would come; I was almost addicted to another winner, keen to post the channel about another success; it's almost like I was seeking some sort of approval and validation from the market for some deep-lying insecurities... A J-Cherry ish setup occurred; it's not part of my plan and it was a mistake... mistakes happen and that's not the drama here... However, when the loss occurred I felt really disappointed, I hammered my fist on my desk... I just couldn't take the loss; especially after all my winners... I then waited and waited and keen to find some sort of another opportunity to get in; almost like I want to proof that I am winner and to get it right... The fed cut the interest rates unannounced, the market moved in a way I've never seen before; the market spiked and I went long on (My mind was making up some sort of reason (seed...). It was a looser again... I was in a traumatic zone; almost like... I need to prove that I can be a winner... Luckily I closed my laptop and walked off...

I went home and fell asleep; I felt traumatised... never thought this could happen to me; man this trading does do some funny shit to your head; whoever said it's simply buying and selling can't be further from the truth. Trading is a game, a game with your head! Anyways, this was a shocker to my system; I'm human and I will make mistakes and this is part of the learning. It's how I will get out of this will define my success as a trader. Tomorrow is a new day and I am going to put some things in place to avoid the same emotional trauma as today.

1. Trade Number: 4/20 Batch 3
2. Date/Time: 03/03/2020 - Morning session
3. Symbol/TF: Dax/1m
4. Signal Type / Direction: Long Cherry
5. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade: Price broke out in a nice pace; saw a cherry...
6.Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade: Beautiful 2R a trade; felt very very happy...
7. DS For this Trade: 1DS
8. DS Running Total: 100% (4/20) (4DS1 & DS0)
9. Result: 2R
10: Badge R: 6R (Target 10)
11. Screenshot:

1. Trade Number: 5/20 Batch 3
2. Date/Time: 03/03/2020 - Morning session
3. Symbol/TF: Dax/1m
4. Signal Type / Direction: Long S1
5. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade: Noticing more and more how the M5 is so important for the trade of S1 on M1... A beautiful hunt pattern occurred on M5, first pull back didn't resulted in a Seed so didn't take the trade; then on the second pull back a cherry came and I took it.
6.Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade: Price went up to 1R and then stopped me out; that's fine. One thing I am noticing is that you want the cherries and Seeds as small as possible to increase the chance of a winner or BE.
7. DS For this Trade: 1DS
8. DS Running Total: 100% (5/20) (5DS1 & DS0)
9. Result: 0R

1. Trade Number: 8/20 Batch 3
2. Date/Time: 04/03/2020 - Afternoon session
3. Symbol/TF: Dax/1m
4. Signal Type / Direction: S1 Long
5. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade: Missed the monarch & and potential 3rd into 5th pullback too deep; so only opportunity for me on this upmove was to wait for S1. Waiting patiently and saw M5 Hunt Cherry; went in.
6.Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade: Beautiful trade and would have ended being either a BE or 2R... I accidently pushed a button at 1R which triggered opposite trade... so ended closing this trade with 1R...
7. DS For this Trade: 1DS
8. DS Running Total: 75% (8/20) (6DS1 & 2S0)
9. Result: 1R
