Re: David's journal
Do you trade dots?
Because your GOLD trade was with no dots. And i dont see clear if AO was close to ZL. But the next attempt you missed was pretty nice setup. Dont be afraid, just be in the ZONE.
Nothing to worry about! Just NEXT.

Who says we cannot predict, you can, thats not a problem, problem is how you react after you've predicted. (c) Immy

Re: David's journal
If not giving "enough room to breath" is the problem with your trades then here is a suggestion. Try closing exactly half of your trades at exactaly 1:1 and not moving SL to BE, because this way if you close half at 1:1 you have a technical break even trade with twice the "breathing" room available for your trade to "gyrate"azadar wrote:My dots dont show up on gold for some reason, im not sure why.

Re: David's journal
Was working from home today so I had time to monitor the charts from time to time. Managed to catch a nice move down on eurjpy and closed after 100 pips. I did make a mistake on the exit and closed early when I should have closed on trailing aims level. Wasted about 10 pips by closing early.

Re: David's journal
Caught a nice W3 down on gold after a big move up. My exit was based on me leaving to attend other things rather than on a signal. The correct exit would have been to trail aims levels on M5.

Re: David's journal
working from home so I managed a nice trade on eurusd. Trade taken on M1 then trailed aims levels on M5 for exit. Result: 33 pips gained while risking 10 pips. In hindsight, it was probably a mistake to close with trailing aims on m5 since it was late in the NY session and when there is a big move like that the NY session often ends moving slowly in the same direction of the big move.
Anyway still happy with the results
