Michal wrote:Also Immy is there some time i should trade Dax only ? as I dont want to trade it whole day long and i know Michael Z. has got only and hour or two a day. Could you please give me a hint when to be on this dax. I was thinking maybe only from 13.00 uk - 15.00 uk ( after 3 i leave my house for training) so i thought of this hours let me know what you think is best cheers
I really appreciate that Demo account it's just great !
Hi Michal,
sorry for jumping on your thread. As you mentioned above, my time is very restricted. It took a while until I've found, with Immy's and AIMSter's kind support and mentoring, the trading hours and, according to it, the time frame I feel comfortable with. I really feel, some sort of, "at home" at London open session from 9-11am CET which is 8-10am GMT. In rare occasions I trade instead of or in addition New York open from 15:30-17:00 CET (14:30-16:00 GMT). IMHO, at that times there is often good volatility and movement in DAX to find entries where winning Pip-count exceeds rents by far.
Maybe Immy or other senior traders can proof what is said above.
Cheers
Michael

I second that. Perfect timings london open and NY open. both times it moves like a charm...
although today was unusual. Normally when you have FOMC statement at 7pm uk , 2 pm NY time, that market often does not move until FOMC statement. Today it moved nicely in LO and NYO and then again moved beautifully after FOMC. I personally think we are sitting on a gold mine with this dax. I don't now how long it will stay this smooth but this seems to be working pretty fine and there is no reason to believe it might stop. Much better than currencies... by far.
cheers

that's true the way dax is moving if i'd like to compare to currencies i trade eur/usd aud/usd usd/jpy - i can easily say they're dead well... waiting for a setup on my live account what's better than a demo account \:D/
I did really enjoyed it. I will try to describe my trades like this from now on as maybe someone will catch if im doing sth wrong.
I hope others can learn from my mistakes too. :-bd

not every fruit can be traded. e.g. when market is going nicely in one direction, as in the case of shorts to the left of the chart. allow it move and wait for price if it pulls away, like really pull away from gator. then you may exit or exit and reverse.
Important question is . Why did you not enjoy it? Any particular reason, is it because you did not make as many pips as expected,? is it because you are comparing your results with some one else?

Thank you Immy will try to put it to my mind in other session. I think you misunderstood what i said as i ment i really enjoyed that session i must say im really excited with this demo account as like i said i wanted to check myself what i can do with fruits and if i can do:)
Ny session got on my nerve because of my internet provider. Virgin decided just to switched of our area for maitenance so i did struggle with internet through my mobile. I missed some trade which i would have taken but well at the end of a day I did what i did.
Im thinking should i set my fixed lots? but can someone tell me how to qucikly trade then? as to catch fruits you need to be quick. #-o
