Trade campaign 17/2

Summary
  • Pair: GBP/USD
    Entry: Fruit
    Risk: 28.4 P
    Extit: Initial SL
    Result: - 31.2 P, - 1.1 R
    DS: 0
About the campaign
  • Target on H1: Wave 5 down
    Remarks:
    • Only two bars to form the Angle (DS = 0).
    • Subjectively price not far from Alligator and also not much retracement since the end of Wave 3.
I know the rules, I see them written in my Trading Plan, but I still don't stick to them. Really weird :-q .

Trade campaign 19/2

Summary
  • Pair: EUR/GBP
    Entry: Fruit
    Risk: 29.1 P
    Extit: Initial SL
    Result: - 29.3 P, - 1 R
    DS: 1
About the campaign
  • Target on H1: Wave 5 down
    Remarks:
    • After the end of Wave 3 (Divergence), AO had crossed its ZL. Therefore, I was awaiting Wave 5. On D1, Alligator was open wide to the upside, but price retraced for a few days from a possible peak of Wave 3 up.
    • Price hit the 50 % retracement level of Wave 3 nearly to the Pip.
    • Price went away from Alligator pretty far and quick.

    • The next, third, Fruit signal would finally have worked out, but I was asleep at that time :-s .

I finished my second 20 campaigns.
Lots of work to do, as my DS (12/20) increased only by one and is still far away from being acceptable.

Nevertheless, this batch also ended in positiv territory, R wise (2788 P, 18.73 R).

Thomas, congratulations on completing your second batch. Trust me, you have already proven that you're on the right track. There are many traders who are consistently losing and yet they don't even know why its happening to them and they have no idea that its a game of discipline and one can really train for discipline. Before they realise that it will be a long time or they will quit before they get to that point. You are ahead of the game. Have a good W.E

Thank you, Immy. Always a pleasure to read your encouraging words.

I think that I'm slowly developing a feeling for higher probability spots and a who-cares attitude towards losing trades.
These two T20s really boostet my confidence in the Fruit strategy and I'm looking forward to the third one.

Trade campaign 1/3

Summary
  • Pair: AUD/USD
    Entry: Fruit
    Risk: 38.5 P + 42.2 P
    Extit: Box trail
    Result: - 34.9 P - 42.3 P = -77.2 P, - 0.91 R - 1 R = - 1.91 R
    DS: 1
About the campaign
  • Pre-trade remarks:
    • Classic Setup
    • Trend on H4 and D1 is bullish.
    • A long bullish candle is shown (due to news), price retraced and is going up, again.
    • eWaves indicates a completed Wave 3 (Divergence). Afterwards, AO crossed ZL (Wave 4). Therefore, I expect a Wave 5 to follow.
  • Post-trade remarks:
    • Box breakout was a bit close to TZ1 (R:R of ~1:1).
    • Price hit TZ1 and retraced into SL.
    • The 10 Pips SL buffer while trailing boxes avoided an earlier exit of the campaign.

Trade campaign 2/3

Summary
  • Pair: USD/JPY
    Entry: Box breakout
    Risk: 50.8 P
    Exit: Initial SL
    Result: - 51.1 P, - 1 R
    DS : 1
About the campaign
  • Pre-trade remarks:
    • Classic Setup, pending orders are set in both directions.
    • Alligator on H4 is already open to the upside, on D1 awaking.
    • eWaves indicates a completed Wave 5 (Divergence). AO is near ZL, price inside a tight box and Alligator sleeping.
    • Aim is to hit a new wave sequence, preferably an entry into a Wave 3.
  • Post-trade remarks:
    • Box breakout was hit, but price retraced immediately.
    • SL was hit and price retraced immediately.
    • Momentum Add-On was avoided, as price was pretty indecisive and there was no remarkable increasement in momentum.

Trade campaign 3/3

Summary
  • Pair: EUR/GBP
    Entry: Box breakout
    Risk : 44.8 P
    Exit: Initial SL
    Result: - 45.4 P, - 1.01 R
    DS: 1
About the campaign
  • Pre-trade remarks:
    • Classic Setup, pending orders are set in both directions.
    • Alligator on H4 is opening to the upside, price possibly going into a bullish Wave 5.
    • Alligator on D1 is open to the upside. Price retraced from the temporary high of Wave 3 back into Alligator's Mouth, created a new lover AIMS-Level inside and started to go up since then, again.
    • eWaves indicates a completed Wave 5. AO is near ZL, price inside a tight box and Alligator sleeping.
    • A few hours ago, a valid, bearish Fruit signal showed up.
    • Higher AIMS-Levels are showing a stepping down pattern.
  • Post-trade remarks:
    • Box breakout was hit, but price retraced immediately.
    • No Box trail, as price never entered into Stage 3.
    • Nothing wrong with trade management, but not the best spot for pending orders. Wait for market structure (also on D1) being more clear.
