Aug 23, morning trade

- entered short AU (aiming at W5 on H1)
- started to go south, but very slow move...hence I exit before red US news 4pm CET, with a little 8PIPs (well all PIPs are good, aren't they??? )

Aug 23, afternoon trade

- on UJ - M5 (chart below)
- prepared 2 trades, one long, one short @1%
- very bad red US news
- luck = a SEED right after the 1st move south
- entered short @1% (this time was @market price, so spread of 9, but still worth it...)
- SL top of SEED
- exit @3%

- Starting this week I was almost drowned, by uneeded questions, over complicating what is obviously simple etc.
- Then comes the "enlightment" -Fran you did quite well during past 2 weeks...why are you sc....up things like this...???- Immy's luminous guidance, et voilà, all is on track, and well on track:
> trade on H1 any set-ups (S1, S2, SEED, FRUIT)
> exit before any red news
> trade on M5 after news, on a decent retracement
- I must be grateful, to Immy, Snorm, and all the Team, grateful grateful grateful...
- I don't believe in coincidence/chance etc. Things happen because they have to happen. I'm here "home"; I've been sent here on purpose. You remember when you were trying to find a new place to live? Then go from house to house, some quite good, others quite bad, others so so...and one day, BANG, you're there, this is your house, your home. Why, you don't really know, but you are sure that this is your home!!! That is exactly what I feel right now = I'm home, and I'm definitely sure, absolutely sure that all will be well!!!
- Last, this is my third week. Incredibly still profitable! So 3 weeks in a row. AIMSters thx, and wish you more PIPs than what I got.

Interesting idea to trade Seeds after major news on M5. I may take a look at that!

Aug 26, no morning trade
- could not find a good set up (I did not say there was not, just that I could not find one for me...)
- I'll come back just before red US news this afternoon

- Over the WE I reviewed some trades.

> exit is not very orthodox -I feel "happy" with the outcome, then rush to close the trade, whereas there could be a bit more PIPs to grab, just by abiding to exit rules

- I did not follow "normal" exit rules, but this time I konw why = I enter on a pic retracement. And pic will afterwards retrace "a lot", so don't want to waste what I get ---> I exit @2%...

Aug 27, late night early morning trade

- was waiting for W5 on EA...And luckily things unfold...the right way...
- entered AU @2 x 0.5%
- close half @1:1
- add 2 x 0.5%
- move up all SL
- currently 0.5% free trade + 1% trade ongoing

- rules are so clear, if you don't try to bend them = no stress, just wait, open your eyes, spot, then pull the trigger..and that's it!!!
- still difficult for me to follow more than one trade at a time -I see other opportunities but don't "dare" to take them since I'm not sure to follow correctly both trades. Will do later whrn I feel completely comfortable...
- it took almost 2+ days for this W5 to unfold. It was really about to unfold Friday...But again patience DOES PAY!!!

Aug 27, morning trade update

- EA stopped out, with 0.8% profit
- I'll be back at NY open

- SL too close; I should have put it at the bottom of the last BOX...tooooo "pushy"...again back to the basics and whatever happens, follow the rules
- Something "interesting" happens to me as well...I was looking at UJ-H1, "hoping" for a W5 rebound up...which did not occur. Instead price bursts south! And I was kind of hypnotized, waiting for the price to go north, instead of jumping into this obvious wave down (daily is neutral, kind of saddle point)...Trade what you see, not what you think -it's someone's motto, I can't remember who...-

- I was off yesterday afternoon, so no trade
- Feel a bit "frustrated" seeing all those opportunities on JPY pairs!!!...
- But today is another day, so let's focus on just today, and precisely NOW!!!

- lately I got 2 trades, stopped out pretty quickly compared of what I got usually
- my analysis = I failed to look closely at 2 things:
> clear momentum when breakout occurs (this is VITAL!)
> price action before breakout occurs (e.g. are there lots of indecision candles, who are in charge BUYERS or SELLERS, how strong are they...)
- apply all this morning and BANG 4%+ profit within about 2H or so...
- back on NY open
