I my opinion, its always best to manage trade on the current time frame. Fiddling with Time frame for entries, and specially for exits is a complicated game and introduces problems. But if you were determined to make entries and exit on different time frames here is a 1 Rule for all that would serve you for decades to come.

1. Move to Slower/higher time frame for managing trades when the markets are moving slowly.
2. move to faster/lower time frame if the markets are moving too fast. i.e. if price is running away too far from green line, you have the option of following the green or red line on the next immediate lower time frame.

think about it. its really in line wiht Fractal Geometry/ chaos!

Comment 1: If you want to trade m1, then I recommend you use the Standard Template for M1/M5 trading with dots and purple line. This is the Fruit Template to be used for H1 and above time frame.
