Before Grant Answers.... (we are working on a new Seed indicator will be released soon)

Evening Everyone,

Today can be best described as a part timers worst nightmare... If you were to look back over todays PA you would think that lots of pips were on offer and you would be quite right, but, only if you were at the screens at the correct times...

I sat for 1.5 hours at LO and left just before the lovely longs and the hour i spent at NYO PA stayed within a 40 pip range...

Them's the breaks so looking forward to tomorrow.

Trades attached.

thank you very much for sharing you low SL strategy and the seed flow chart. Great statistic in june!!!!!!!!!!!!
I studied the charts on DAX M1 and have some questions now.

- Is the orange line on your chart the purple line?
- Do you have special trading hours?
- What are IB 2, IB AO, AA AO and BO AO Candles?
- Do you use the flow chart for every entry candle?
- Which version of seed indicator do you use? It shows only seeds smaller than 10 pips on you chart?
- Two questions on the charts.
- Why did you use only half risk on your first DC candle entry yesterday? Onnly because you were late? Do you have the same risk management for every entry?
- When do you move the price to BE. Same rules for every trad?
- And now the question of questions: Could you please share your exit rules? Same rules for every trade?

Thanks a lot

- Attached are also my trades from today. I noticed an other good seed entry (also on other time frames). The seed after a fresh cross of purple line.

Hi Silas,

To answer your Q’s:

Is the orange line on your chart the purple line?
Yes

Do you have special trading hours?
Not as such, but I will always try and get the first couple of hours of London Open and NY open…. But if the charts are open at other times and I see a set up then I will take it.

What are IB 2, IB AO, AA AO and BO AO Candles?

• IB1 – Ewaves Pullback Seed
• IB2 – Momentum Seed
• IBAO – Seed Add on
• AAAO – Adams Apple Add on
• BOAO – Aims Breakout Add on

Do you use the flow chart for every entry candle?
For ewaves pullback entries yes…

Which version of seed indicator do you use? It shows only seeds smaller than 10 pips on you chart?
As Immy mentioned earlier I have a Beta test copy of an Indy that Steve is writing that displays only the candles that adhere to the flow chart rules

Why did you use only half risk on your first DC candle entry yesterday? Only because you were late? Do you have the same risk management for every entry?
It was a momentum entry (ewaves at 0 line) but you are correct it was late and really should not have been taken

When do you move the price to BE. Same rules for every trade?
Every trade is different, I will observe PA after the entry is triggered and will move to BE quite aggressively. Generally I will if I see any of the following before the trade gets to 1:1 then I will halve the SL, if I see them at or after 1:1 then I will move to BE:
• Fruit against the trade
• Another seed
• 5 candle trail
• Higher level TF is hit (m5 or up)

And now the question of questions: Could you please share your exit rules? Same rules for every trade?
Exits, exits exits…. The bane of my trading life. There is no exact exit that I use for every trade. Once the trade gets to at least 1:2 I will use one of the following:
• Same colour candle trail
• Aims trail
• Close on green Trail
• Opposite fruit
• If we are in a runaway situation I will trail 1% behind price… so if it goes to +6% I will close at 5% if it reverses
• If there is a higher TF aims level at a decent R:R distance then I will place a TP there (usually at 1:6 or higher)

Will answer your chart posts in the next reply..

cheers

Re your 1st chart pic:
If I see a valid signal straight after a rent then yes I would take the trade. ON this one I didn’t for 2 reasons.
1. I do not have the blue line on my chart so that 2nd seed was between alli and purple.
2. LO volatility had taken price down immediately from the open so I had 1 stab at an entry..

Re your 2nd pic:
If there is a lot of difference I will change the PO using FTM and delete the original PO

RE your 3rd Pic:
I don’t trade 1st seeds after purple line cross…

Re your 4th pic:
DC entry was perfect, shame I wasn’t at my pc

Re your 5th pic
As above I don’t trade after pruple line seeds but the flow chart seed entries look good. DCs candles also look great, just need to trade them… lol

Evening,

Not the best of days but also not the worst...

With NY on hols, London and Europe still normally play ball at least through the am session. Today, unfortunately, they didn't fancy it so a slight down day. No drama, i would have taken these trades with NY open and will take the same looking trades again..

Pics attached also include the weekly figure, so not all bad news.

Have a great weekend all
