DAX M1 – Batch 2

What I saw:

M5: Open gator up. Price testing back to green line.

M1: Finished w3 up. In possible w4. Blue dot, right side of purple, AO close to ZL and recent cross of ZL.

Notes: I thought the setup for the trade was a S1, and I initially thought I had taken it properly, that is, that it was a DS1.

However, on skype Tomi mentioned that the level to the left was too close. Looking at this now I can see that if I had not moved the PO when the box tightened, this trade would not have been triggered. I think what Tomi was saying is that I should have placed the PO above the M1 level at 12250.8 or thereabouts.

By the time the trade triggered the AIMS box was 12.5 pips, and from the top of the M1 box to the top of the highest M1 level to the left (which was also the M5 box high) was 23 pips, so I thought I had enough room to get to BE before the higher M1 level to the left. But, as per above, if I had placed my PO that bit higher the PO would not have triggered.

Looking at this trade in light of the discussion above I can see that I have not met rule 3 of the flow chart. The exit point is not close enough and the M5 AIMS level is too close.

Note: Stop is so large because AIMS box only became smaller when po was triggered, so I didn’t have enough time to change the stop to closer.

Signal: Red dot at 11.47, but then kept moving the entry po as the box sizes changed. Ended up being a pink dot at 11.55.

What I saw:

M1: W3 down, then possible w4, gator asleep, red dot inside aims (but then po cancelled because of black diamond, then as the candle was heading down I placed a PO and there was a pink dot), purple line correct, ao close to zl.
