TP is set at 2:1 Reward:Risk, so if SL (1% risk) is 10 pips, TP is 20 pips(2%)

Thanks for the answer K, just to add to that...

2:1 R:R is standard and has to be achieved before the TZ 1 we are working towards. If That TZ1 is say 2.5R or 3R away i may be tempted to target that level instead of the standard 2R. Doesn't happen very often but it does happen.

Hope that helps

Good Afternoon folks,

a quick update for my trades this month... there aren't that many due to work and kid commitments.

despite that a nice return on the number of trades taken and a decent end to a very decent year.

Thanks to all of you who take the time to read this journal, it helps me stay disciplined knowing that it will be scrutinised by you all. ^:)^

Also thanks to the skype crew... Trading from home on your own can be a lonely business, going into the skype room when i am trading helps a lot. ^:)^

A great end to the month, and year Grant.

Thank you so much for not only sharing your flowchart, but also your trades through out. They truly help so many people.

Also, on a personal one, thanks also for helping me personally, with your trading advice over the year. I'm pretty sure it would have been frustrating at times, but you have helped me immensely, along with Immy and Steve :)

I wish you and your family a very merry christmas, a fantastic break surrounded by loved ones. Keep safe, and look forward to continuing the journey into next year. I am looking forward to the break for a refresh myself, but also looking forward to the start of the new trading year and the consistency that will occur.
