Hi everybody,
yesterday I purchased AIMS and can't say anything about the system itself. But your forum is really great. How friendly and helpful everybody is, I am deeply impressed.
Enough compliments, back to work. I tried to understand the 1M/5M AIMS system and the Seed system. After reading a couple of hours, I decided it is worth a try to put the 5.1 system on a higher time frame as I got no grip to the Seed and Fruit system by reading.
I created templates for 15M GPBUSD, EURUSD, XAUUSD and EURJPY. This might be a good combination of screen time and possibility to take trades for me.
As you can imagine, I have a lot of questions, please feel free to comment.
This was my first trade today:
Was this in guidance with the rules?
Is it okay to quit the purple line on M15?
Cheers

Re: Oliver`s Journal
Welcome to AIMS Community! Stress Free Community! Thanks for the kind words... We love people who "appreciate and love it". Congratulations on starting your journal. I'm sure you know, but I have to say it, "Life is beautiful and its worth recording" what we do is what we are and if we keep a record of what we do, it would be alot easier to know where we have been and how far have we come so if we are lost we can back track and start again. and learning from our mistakes and create a better future.twister08 wrote:Hi everybody,

The first thing that came to mind when I first look at the picture was "where is the purple". Its up to you to keep the purple or remove it but it is always best to know that the gator on higher time frame is open and trending. We are looking for pullback of higher time frames that form S1's on lower time frames. The multiple factor we keep is 5x. For seed the ideal multiple factor is 10-15x. (it take 13 sideways candles to create an S1 wink wink)
Just like S1 is trading pullbacks of higher time frames that form in to S1 breakout setups, Seed is trading breakouts of Seed candles in the direction of the trend on current time frame knowing that a certain lower time frame has S1. But you did the right think, first one must trade S1 setups and then progress to Seeds.
You have effectively taken a trade into 4th wave trade since the trend is up on GU any pullback is classed as corrective wave.
Keep on asking we love questions

Re: Oliver`s Journal
One more trade today. The experience was a little bit confusing. I felt confident when entering the trade and the outcome is okay for today`s quiet market. Although the rules are quite simple, I feel that I took the trade not because of the system, but because I would have taken the trade from an almost naked chart as well.
At the moment (but I am at the very beginning), it seems that I am picking only some elements of AIMS and there is a big portion of gut feeling. Really have no idea whether it is good or not that I was succesfull with my very own trading style during the last three months. I am really eager to learn the system, but I think it will be challenge.
Cheers
