Hi everybody,
as number of trades increase, I'm recently thinking about using a proper and expandable trading record/journal system. Currently I'm using an Excel sheet for trades and Word for the journal. I'm thinking about switching to a small Access database (I did some DB development some years ago) where I can easily add or adopt the data without disrupting data integrity and to have opportunity to type in data in a mask and not in a list.
How are you handling your trade records and your journal to be ready for making analysis with filters of all kind of parameters (i.e. P/L, setup entry/exit, trade type init/add on/..., SL-size, time of the day, weekday, before/after/around news).
All suggestions are highly appreciated.
;-) Michael

Re: Trading records
My Suggestion number 1 is go to www.myfxbook.com and enjoy the magic for FREE! All stuff done automatically. You even have the option to tag your trades, add comments to them and even upload a picture of your trade. an online journal forever! less work more stats...zlabis wrote:Hi everybody,
