FH2o's Journal Trading H1/H4

Unread post by FH2o »

Hi Everyone

I've just decided to journal my trades for reference and also to solicit comments from other more experienced traders who can spot and let me know where I am doing wrong.

I'm trading H1 setups based on H4's direction and in line with the Daily trend.

Looking to short USDCAD as - on D1 alligator is wide open and AO on wave 3 down
- on H4 alligator is open down and AO is down

Saw that USDCAD is in a reasonable 'small' 40 pips box and setting up for Setup 2
(Setup 1 happened last Friday but I can't spot the opportunity to enter a trade according to the Rules)
so I put in a pending sell order which was triggered. I will report back later how this UC short trade goes.

Hi Francis,

I'm very excited to know that you're trading H1 in teh direction of H4 and will be discussing your "trade setups" "ideas" here. Journal keeping is the THE Most important aspect of successful trading. ALL successful traders keep a detailed journal. Even better is to keep it in a way that you can turn that DATA into a DATAbase by utilizing excel sheets or even better utilise FREE and awesome services such as www.MyFxBook.com and others alike...

all the best... looking forward to discussing some setups with you...cheers

(are you part of Skype? we love talking H1 in Skype room)
